Some things are better left to the professionals. DIY crafts can be fun but they can also get taken way out of hand. It's great to DIY something like a cute little decoration, maybe for a holiday or celebration, something simple. Many times the craft will be admired for a month or so and then fall apart because it was put together with hot glue and cardboard. This fact should be considered with all DIY crafts. Sometimes the stuff lying around the house just isn't gonna be able to renovate a home, unfortunately.
