Andrew Yang Drops Out Of Primary, Yang Gang Smashes F
Andrew Yang announced the suspension of his Presidential campaign last night after poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire.
Speaking to supporters in New Hampshire last night, Yang said, “I am the math guy, and it’s clear from the numbers we’re not going to win this campaign… Being your candidate has been the privilege of my life.”
The entrepreneur's outsider candidacy was always a longshot in the stacked Democratic Primary Field, and his dropping out of the race represents the end of the weird early stages of the primary that made people like Marianne Williamson household names. His uniqueness in the field may have been a boon to his campaign, as he outlasted many more experienced politicians that were considered major contenders just a year ago. His staying power was partially due to his diehard online constituency, dubbed the Yang Gang, who reacted to the news of his campaign's suspension in the same way they supported his candidacy: with memes.
I am not making this up, this is the actual Yang subreddit's response to him dropping out. pic.twitter.com/z9SEJmyfHB

Some supporters are already talking about continuing to build Yang's momentum into the next presidential election in 2024. There's a strong possibility we haven't seen the last of Andrew Yang.
