These images contain a peak form of cringe. These are awkward interactions, texts, social media posts, public flyers and more that shouldn't exist for lots of different reasons, but all of them have two things in common. First, they're just plain awful to look at, and second, they can really make you feel bad for these people. Usually, "sad cringe" doesn't exist in nature, since we rarely feel bad for people who post cringeworthy content, but in some cases it's just so pathetic that it's managed to find its way into this category and been immortalized online for its true awfulness. The saddest cringe of all was collected by Redditors on /r/sadcringe who just couldn't process what they were looking at.
