15 Of May's Best 'Choosing Beggars' Acting Entitled To Everything

These people think they're entitled enough to demand some of the most ridiculous things. Apparently, a lot of them think lumber is an acceptable form of payment for having someone completely demolish a house. They also seem to think that paying about a dollar an hour is an acceptable rate for difficult jobs. Or that you shouldn't be paid at all, and you should simply enjoy "hanging out" with their dog while they're on vacation. Or maybe they want someone to make completely free art of a complicated subject, but they better be sure not to sign their name on it, because that'll ruin the whole thing.

You wouldn't believe some of the demands people have come up with, and they don't seem to understand how any of this is unreasonable. That's why we call them "choosing beggars," since beggars can apparently be choosers after all. Here are some of this month's worst ones to remind you people can be the absolute worst.

September 2021 They sold us a nice bed, but two years later when we were moving they refused to help us move the bed even after we offered to pay for it. So in our opinion alIIIIII they do is sell beds. don't expect any else after that.

The Warehouse 5d Q I bought some Not a happy customer here. underwear (5 pack) at Warehouse West City for a friend. We thought we had the right size, but it turns out the lady needed the next size up. So we took them back to Warehouse West City hoping for an exchange as we had the original receipt, or a refund. The Warehouse refused to do either of these! Basically their attitude was tough sh*t. I get it that there are health and safety concerns. But it's not like all the underwear were tried on, only the first pair. You can still resell the remaining four and get something for it. Twelve dollars isn't a huge amount, but it's the principle of the matter. I do not like being ripped off. If that's your policy, then you need to have it somewhere where it can be seen, so customers do not get caught out. Like Comment Share ...

AITA? Yes, Definitely

AITA for asking an artist to remove their signature from the art I commissioned? Throwaway as I wish to remain anonymous from the artist (they are on reddit) I found an artist I really enjoy and commissioned them recently. I want to preface this with the fact that everything went extremely smoothly so far. I am very happy with the outcome and the art is exactly what I pictured. Only one issue though. They left their signature on it. To be fair, it is small, off to the corner, not very noticeable. I just feel that it is unprofessional, as I commissioned them the artwork does not belong to them anymore. I asked if they will remove it for me and they seemed kinda annoyed and asked me if I read their TOS (admittedly, I skimmed), where it apparently states that they will not remove their signature. I told them what I said above, which is that I own the art now. They then told me I somehow don't and then quoted me a HUGE markup price for "commercial rights" and they only remove their signature for that purpose. I said I don't need commercial rights and tried to compromise by offering to send them $5 to remove it (which is utter bs in the first place, I shouldn't have to pay extra for this). They refused and I had essentially told the artist that if they don't remove it then I will simply photoshop it out myself (considering that it's mine, I can do what I please with it). They then informed me that I will be blacklisted from commissioning them if I do so. Spoiler alert, I did it and now i am not to mention blocked from then as well. AITA?
