Fall Guys undoubtedly became the game of the summer in 2020 thanks to its simple, addictive gameplay and irreverent sense of humor, which developers Mediatonic have doubled down on in a recent update that added a new hammer to the game's race-to-the-finish courses dubbed "Big Yeetus."

Big Yeetus, which is the official name of the new hammer, appears randomly in race levels to "shake things up." This means if you're in a game and the leader has developed what seems like an insurmountable lead, Big Yeetus may appear and, if you're lucky, you may get launched far up the stage and be right back in the running. Of course, you could also spend far too much trying and failing to line yourself up just right for Big Yeetus' blessing, resulting in you falling even further behind.

The "Big Yeetus" update went live Tuesday and immediately streamers drank from the cup of its power to score massive boosts.
