But who is the Julia and what does it mean to be "so Julia?" Here's what you need to know.

What Does 'I'm So Julia' Mean?

"I'm so Julia" is derived from Charli XCX's song "360," which is part of her album Brat, released on June 7th, 2024. However, Charli first talked about the song and the lyrics, "I'm everywhere, I'm so Julia" back in December 2023 during an interview between herself and model and actress Julia Fox, who the song is referencing. In the interview she says, "I wrote this song, which is basically about how you [Julia Fox] started every trend of 2022 […] 'I’m everywhere. I’m so Julia,' as in, I’m the reference. I’m everywhere like Julia Fox is everywhere."

So, essentially, being "so Julia" means you're "everywhere," which in turn means you're popular, outgoing, or the "it girl." Julia Fox later defined the term from her perspective on the Zach Sang show, saying that it means "Just being that girl […] being confident, putting yourself out there, being out, being about, being the center of attention. Just being that b---h."

How Is 'I'm So Julia' Used In Memes?

As a slang term, "I'm so Julia," or "so Julia," when used towards someone or something, means that they're popular and "everywhere." It's kind of like calling someone the "it girl." As a meme, the terms is largely used in the same way to positively hype a subject, usually female, up. The meme is often combined with other Charli XCX Brat memes for full effect.

The term itself has also become popular as a simple reference to the song "360," which, for many, is being touted as the song of the summer. Recently, some edits have been going viral pairing the song with footage of Kamala Harris, who has recently been deemed brat.
