The person who made this monstrosity happen, however, was not a member of Gen Alpha. Instead, it was award-winning comedian and Late Show host Stephen Colbert.

Colbert debuted Skibidi Biden during a May 22nd segment on the Late Show. The character came up during a bit about a new job opening by the Biden campaign for an employee to run relations with meme pages and coordinate pro-Biden posting.

Colbert joked about a series of possible memes to be posted by the Biden campaign (including retro, out-of-touch throwbacks like Ermagherd ) and concluded with the horror of an animated Skibidi Toilet with Joe Biden's head chanting campaign slogans.

How Are People Responding To 'Skibidi Biden'?

Initial responses to Skibidi Biden ranged from horror to existential despair. Many took the cursed image of Skibidi Toilet with the head of America's 46th President as a mark of civilization's decline. These users condemned Skibidi Biden and Colbert both, viewing it as the fusion of two different types of cringe: Boomer humor and Gen Alpha.

However, some people appeared to think the Colbert joke was more nuanced. These observers thought the Late Show host had made an artful set-up and was ultimately mocking the out-of-touchness of the Biden administration.
