Over the past year, a viral video of a Polish man saying "O cholera czy to Freddy Fazbear" has cemented itself as a classic Five Nights at Freddy's meme. In the video, he also sings "Har har har" in reference to the iconic FNaF Beatbox video.

Originally posted to TikTok, the video gained widespread usage going into this year, even spawning an English variant with a British kid saying, "Is that Freddy Fazbear?" Of course, the entire concept centers on the character Freddy Fazbear and a series of trash cans that resemble the bear.

Curious about where the original Polish video was posted and why it went viral? Also, do you want to know what those Freddy Fazbear trash cans are? Let's explain.

What's The Original 'O Cholera Czy To Freddy Fazbear' Video?

The original video was posted by a TikToker named @.g.r.b in June of this year. It was filmed from his perspective, showing him and a friend walking up to a bear-shaped trash can and saying, "O cholera czy to Freddy Fazbear?"

Translated into English, the phrase "O cholera" means "Oh shoot" and the whole question put together is "Oh shoot, is that Freddy Fazbear?"

After asking the question, the TikToker and his friend start chanting, "Har, har, har, har," which is a direct reference to the "FNaF Beatbox" video. The beatbox was a cover of the "Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song" by The Living Tombstone.

What's The 'Freddy Fazbear Trash Can?'

In the original video, the TikToker and his friend approach a bear-shaped trash can. In Europe, these trashcans are everywhere and they're called TidyBears. They're mostly near playgrounds and schoolyards.

What's The 'Is That Freddy Fazbear' Meme?

After the virality of the Polish version, an English version surfaced months later, spoken by a British kid on TikTok. The creator of the British version is named YMC Gigglesaurus, who's a notable creator on the app. Many don't know his real age, as he could be using a voice filter for memetic intent.
