Skechers, the shoe company, has surprisingly released a chicken sandwich at the brand's first-ever food court, called the Food Spot, at a California location.

On TikTok and Twitter / X, many are debating if the Skechers chicken sandwich is elite or not, rivaling the likes of Popeye's and Chick-fil-A. Some are saying that this Nashville-inspired Skechers sandwich (and other items on the Skechers menu) even rival Costco's famous eatery.

Where's The Skechers Food Court, aka Food Spot?

The Skechers Food Spot is located in Gardena, California at the Skechers Warehouse Outlet store. The Food Spot opened in May 2023. According to Skechers' president and co-founder Michael Greenberg, he always thought that it'd be fun to have a food concession at the large Gardena location.

How Much Does The Skechers Chicken Sandwich Cost?

The chicken sandwich at the Skechers Food Spot costs $6.50 without tax. On the menu, it's called a "Nashville Spiced Crispy Chicken Sandwich" and its ingredients are an artisan bun, house slaw, dill pickles, secret spot sauce and (of course) fried chicken.

Is The Skechers Chicken Sandwich Good?

Since the Food Spot's opening, reviews of the chicken sandwich (and the other food) have been positive overall. The most viral review of the chicken sandwich was posted by TikToker @shophocho earlier this month, in which he rated it better than Chick-fil-A's competitor in a side-by-side comparison.
