Who Is 'Incredible Gassy' And Why Is The Character A Meme? The Bizarre Superhero Explained

Someone on the internet had a "unique" idea and decided to request an artist to draw a new version of the hero, now called Incredible Gassy, depicted as morbidly obese, wearing a lime-green suit and with superpowers related to farting.

Where Does 'Incredible Gassy' Come From?
Incredible Gassy was created by artist Bobo Comics after a Patreon request was sent to him, likely sometime in 2021. The animation features the hero riding a sex toy while farting (shown below) and the earliest safe-for-work (if you could call it that) post found was uploaded on June 4th, 2021, by YouTube user I Like Basset Hounds.

On February 8th, 2022, Bobo Comics responded to a fan demanding more Incredible Gassy content (shown below) saying that fart fetish animation was not his "cup of tea."
How Did The 'Incredible Gassy' Animation Become A Meme?
The farting hero started to be seen in memes around August 2022, expanding and creating more lore about the character. For instance, Instagram user @absolutenutcase162 posted a SpongeBob comic featuring Incredible Gassy, garnering over 1,800 likes in seven months (shown below).
In January 2023, after Incredible Gassy became more popular on the internet, especially on Reddit and Twitter, a SoyBooru user posted a Soyjak version of the meme (shown below).
Why Is 'Incredible Gassy' Trending On TikTok?
On July 2023, Incredible Gassy memes reached the TikTok community. Fan animations and other parodies surrounding the hero were posted on the video platform to enrich the hero's lore. For example, on July 3rd, 2023, user @soyteen1 posted a fan animation (shown below, left) of a Soyjak version of Incredible Gassy in a game simulation format, which received 478,000 plays and 48,000 likes in two weeks. A few days later, on July 8th, user @northeastern_nationalist posted a Fortnite version of the character trying to recreate the original NFSW animation.
