Like many businesses around the world right now, the National Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is closed. But fear not history buffs and cowboy enthusiasts, the museum has the perfect thing to make up for it: Their head of security Tim.

On March 17th, the National Cowboy Museum posted a photograph of the new sheriff in town. Though he says he's still getting used to "content" and "platforms," he's clearly a natural.

"Hello Friends, my name is Tim and I am the head of security for The Cowboy," Tim writes. "I have been asked to take on the additional duty of social media management while the museum is closed. I’m new to social media but excited to share what I am told is called 'content' on all of The Cowboy’s what I am told are 'platforms' including the Twitter, the Facebook, and the Instagram."

Throughout the week, Cowboy Tim's virtual tours have been a popular hangout on Twitter and Instagram. Most importantly, Tim's usage of hashtags and penchant for dad jokes have made him a rare beacon of hope in a cold world.

Probably the best part of it all is that Cowboy Tim treated followers to the time he met Sam Elliott, who Tim says has a "quality mustache." Game recognize game.
