Much like the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, its spin-off series WandaVision has a huge following and a complicated premise. In this one-season Disney+ show, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) is one of the most powerful superheroes in the MCU, and after the death (two deaths, actually) of her android love interest Vision (Paul Bettany) in Infinity War, she handled her grief by creating a sitcom universe in which she could pretend to be living a normal life with Vision and the children the pair eventually have. In the process, she imprisons the entire town of Westview in the "Hex," where they are forced to live out their glitchy televised lives as the outside world tries to intervene.

As fictionalized life continues in Westview, the show begins to delve into the "real" plot where Wanda can’t handle her grief and eventually takes on an almost villainous role in her own story. But with the cheesy sitcom atmosphere overtaking the beginning of the season, there are still a lot of scenes that led to the creation of memes. Here are the best episodes to find them.

It wasn’t easy to choose between this episode or episode three (where Kathryn Hahn's Agnes winks), but so much of the online community had a somewhat perverted fascination with Wanda wearing her original costume from the Marvel comics that it overshadowed everything else about the show. Even people who haven’t seen WandaVision are familiar with the vast number of images of Wanda in costume that have come out of this episode.

In this Halloween episode, the characters are all dressed as their comic-book counterparts. There are a lot of other meme-worthy characters that are often forgotten, such as Vision in a very sloppy green costume with a jewel stuck on his head. The irony of Marvel characters mocking their own appearances in the comics isn’t entirely unexpected from a show as wild as this, but is a much lighter part of the series that has the fourth-wall-breaking atmosphere of Deadpool and unintentionally left us with a lot of potential reaction images.

Most Meme Potential: Episode 9: "The Series Finale"

Have you ever heard of the ship of Theseus? If you’re like most of us, you haven’t. The ship of Theseus is a thought experiment that questions whether a ship that’s been rebuilt in its entirety is still the same ship, thus implying Vision is not the same Vision as before, his newfound enemy is also not Vision, and maybe Wanda isn’t even Wanda after her grief. This philosophical concept led to many discussions online that weren’t characteristic of a typical binge-watching Disney audience, and it’s created a few memes, though most people who weren’t philosophy majors or fans of the show didn’t appreciate it to its full potential in meme format.

In this episode, Vision poses this philosophical concept to the "evil twin" version of himself in order to win a battle, which already seems like a bizarre plot point. There are more moments in the episode that would make great memes, and another particularly notable one is Vision’s quote, "Who knows what I might be next?" This has been requoted many times online, but there are very few memes of it, though it creates a lot of possibilities for anything from jokes about reincarnating as a Haitian Toilet Rat or a new take on the classic "real fake doors" remaining unopened after obtaining a college degree.
