In the clip, an angry kid can be heard yelling, "Man, shut your f---ing b---h a-- up neegy," while a gold-colored caricature with exaggerated facial features is edited over the gameplay.

Most Neegy memes reuse the original Fortnite audio in unrelated videos, reaction edits and brainrot compilations, as well as simply placing it over clips of gameplay for engagement bait.
The sound is also commonly paired with a gold-colored caricature character, similar to Manny Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, whose exaggerated appearance has become just as recognizable as the catchphrase itself.
