What's With The Fake AI 'Don't Tap The Glass' Song By Tyler, The Creator? Memes About The Bogus Leak Explained

Rapper and singer Tyler, the Creator dropped his summer 2025 dance album Don't Tap The Glass (DTTG) with little to no warning this week. After a series of conceptual albums like Flower Boy, IGOR and Chromakopia, the rapper promised to deliver a tracklist that makes his fans put down their phones and let it rip on the dance floor.
But a day before the official drop, fans eagerly searching up Tyler's new album only found posts by opportunists who had uploaded fake "leaks" as engagement bait.

One such YouTuber uploaded an AI-generated track that is so hilariously generic and far off from Tyler's idiosyncratic style that fans had no choice but to laugh.

What's the Fake AI Tyler, the Creator "Don't Tap the Glass" Leak?
On July 19th, 2025, YouTuber KLODJAN uploaded a video titled "Tyler, The Creator – Don't Tap The Glass! (Music Video)." The fact that "DTTG" is the name of the album and not any one track on it was besides the point, because the shady-looking upload had ripped a blurry photo of the album cover and plonked it beside a generic bold face prompt, complete with a 🎶 emoji.
The song itself was even less convincing: a generic 45-second AI-generated pop loop where an anonymous man croons the phrase "don't tap the glass" over a keyboard riff that swells and then cuts off without warning.
The song sounded like a Chainsmokers x Charlie Puth demo that never saw the light of day, and Tyler, the Creator fans were left in stitches.
