Revenge of the Mafia: Reckoning

Oh thank the gods I'm not going to die! Yes, yes, focus on the other team. Oh thank you all for sparing me!

Now, here's the suspicion list for Team Other:
Crow (Voted)
Stalemate
ShiJo
Max Burg IV

I doubt that MedaMonster is mafia since he wants to help. The ones who didn't vote seem the most suspicious to me. Crow especially, he's been silent for a little too long. Max as well. And wasn't ShiJo threatened with removal before?

Actually I was only really inactive around the first day/night phases so I've only been absent just once, get yo' facts straight

This is going to be difficult since all four of these guys voted for Arch. I went back to the previous page and saw that KYMFPMM voted for Max at first and changed his vote to Arch. Laud voted for me and then changed her vote to Arch. Could the reason for this be joining a bandwagon in order to protect yourself.

KYFPMM wrote:

I changed my vote after Arch said we will regret it voting on him

So, I guess I can rule you out. Now, if Laud can come here and explain why she's innocent.

We've had users suddenly spring forth from the dead in the last villager phase. Right when they were going to be booted.

Seems suspicious to me.

With that said, I say we split our votes between Hackenbacker and Stalemate.

I'm voting Stalemate.

Edit: Arch Dornan was on team Roarshach in the first voting phase, so that means that there was one mafioso on team NON.

Here was team NON:

I think we should focus on one of those along with Team Non-voters who are still here. My vote remains the same.

Wait, why wouldn't you vote Hackenbacker? If we're supposed to keep this a tie, it would be beneficial to keep the numbers even.

Oh we were trying make this a tie? Shit I was thinking there was going to be another bandwagon. I'm changing my vote for Hackenbacker so we can make another tie duel between him and Stalemate. Sorry for almost screwing up the tie breaker.

Whoa whoa whoa! Why me? I already explained, I was just drawn in by Arch's sob story and thought he was innocent! I'm innocent! You don't want to kill me! I'm going to defend for my womanly life as much as possible! I can't fight, Stalemate will kill me!

Great, now we have to rule if this statement is true or a lie.

I guess it depends on her past posts on this thread.

What do I have to do for you all to prove I'm innocent? All I did was vote for the wrong man because I believed his excuse about the B-52s! I was lured in, honey potted if you will by a guilty man lying!

If I must die, at least allow me the dignity of dying on my feet. I may be being subjugated to mob violence here, but I at least want some dignity if I do get selected to be the next blood sacrifice.

DAY 4: July 4, 1934

The town once again gathers for its daily ritual. Since Bob is in the hospital, they decide to meet in his room so that they can have his input. He suggests that they once again let two members fight each other and let fate decide who is innocent. The votes are cast and it is decided that Stanley Mates and Hannah Baker will be the ones to fight each other. Stanley is very quiet on the decision (as he has been on things for most of his life) and seems confident that he'll be able to win against the local laundry girl. Hannah, on the other hand, is mortified by the decision and screams how it isn't fair. She tries to plead her innocence but the crowd is having none of it. They take both of the combatants (willing or now) out to an empty field where the duel will take place. This time the weapon of choice is pistols. Hannah reluctantly takes her pistol with shaking hands as Stanley grabs his without a second thought. The two stand back to back and begin counting ten paces. On the tenth step, both duelists wheel around and take aim, but Stanley is the first to fire. By pure luck however, Hannah lost her balances as she turned and fell down onto her behind. Stanley's shot flew harmlessly over her head and as she hit the ground, she pulled the trigger by mistake. In another stroke of luck for Hannah, the shot flew straight into Stanley's heart. For a moment, everything is silent. Stanley falls over without a word and the crowd gathers around him. Sure enough, he is dead. Although she is very distraught about what she has done, Hannah is mostly just thankful to be alive. That is until a member of the crowd pulls back Stanley's coat to reveal a police badge. Hannah Baker, at the will of the town, had killed Stanley Mates, the last remaining member of the local Fuzz.

NIGHT PHASE: 24 Hours Remain

Hackenbacker wrote:

…..I'm so screwed.

Oh man, you're next once we get to the next day phase. How dare you kill the last member of the fuzz.

Stalemate never contacted me when I asked him to. It's clear he didn't want to actually participate in the game.

Crimea, for the sake of fairness, can we get the hints you gave Stalemate? Because I doubt he's actually going to share.

Now let's look at what this vote tells us.

Hackenbacker had 4, Stalemate had 3. Even with that uneven amount, there was still a tie. This tells us that at least one person who voted for Hackenbacker is mafia.

Those who voted for Hackenbacker are:

  • Crow
  • Stalker
  • chowz
  • KYFPMM

At least one of them is mafia. I say we split tomorrow's tie between two of them.

Doctor, I'm going to ask that you keep me alive again tonight. And contact me, god dammit. Stalemate would probably still be alive if he had contacted me like I asked.

Edit: HOLD IT!

Run this current list with the list for Team NON and we get:

Chowz is the only repeating member

Edit 2: Just to make it clear why this is important. Arch Dornan voted for Roarchach, so we know there must be a mafioso in Team NON.

There was a tie in this phase, despite uneven votes for Hackenbacker. So we know there must be a mafioso in Team Hackenbacker.

How would I be considered a mafia if I did the following:

Voted out the Spy.
Voted out Arch Domain who was a mafia.
Voted for the person who killed the last Fuzz and will do so again unless something happens.

My only mistake Bob was voting for Twisty because of the "lazy guy" clue.

It's not about what you did or didn't do. It's about what the facts tell us.

If you must kill me to oust what you think is bad blood, like I said, at least promise me you won't put me in the chair.

I'm done pleading, it obviously doesn't work. I'm innocent in all of this, sans now being forced to kill a respected member of our team. But you all wanted a tie duel. I put the blame of my death into your hands.

No really What "Facts"?!

Stalker, I find your willingness to be ignorant incredibly suspicious. Please pay attention while I am deducing.

Edit: Also, chowz is blaming Hackenbacker for the death of Stalemate. Hackenbacker never voted. There's no reason to suspect Hackenbacker now. Chows is talking out his ass.

Alright Bob, I can see why you're suspicious of Mr. Stalker, so vote for him next?

Crimea, for the sake of fairness, can we get the hints you gave Stalemate? Because I doubt he’s actually going to share.

Fair enough.

Before Stanley's body is buried, his notebook is found in his coat pocket. It only contains two short notes, the first of which was already given in Rory's last words. The second note is as follows:

"I conducted a search of the mafia's second hideout. It was completely wiped clean, just like the last hideout. It looks like the only thing they left behind were a few empty bottles of medicine. I can only conclude that this was the poison that was used to poison Randy."

chowzburgerz wrote:

Oh you want to be like that.
i don't think bobby's "Facts" is true, but fuck you i'm voting for you.

@Crimea

"Empty Medicine Bottles" alright who here is a doctor… wait a minute Crow fits this, but it might be a stupid coincidence

Chowz does have a point. He has been very helpful and desisive. Despite his distrust of me, and me running the risk of getting honeypotted by another mafia member, I think I will only throw my hat in the ring for just a bit.

NIGHT 5: July 5, 1934

The size of the town is shrinking and many of the houses are silent and empty that night. All of the citizens manage to get a few hours of uneasy sleep, all except for a foreigner by the name of Kay-Wy-Eff-Pea-Em-Em. No one was entirely sure where he was from, only that he had an odd name and spoke an odd language. The mafia must have decided that he wouldn't be missed but it seems they were wrong. The next day, one of the citizens notices Kay-Wy-Eff-Pea-Em-Em's absence and decides to organize a search party. They find no evidence of his whereabouts and they can only conclude that he is the latest victim of the mafia's crimes. Perhaps he is now at the bottom of the river, or maybe he was dismembered and taken to the landfill. The only thing that is certain is that he is no longer with them, and as all good citizens would do, they decide to rifle through his belongings. Finding nothing incriminating in his house, they reach the conclusion that Kay-Wy-Eff-Pea-Em-Em was nothing than an average citizen.

Thanks man, I apologize for going apeshit on you. For now, I'll have your name cleared.

So KYMFPMM was killed off leaving me, Stalker, and Crow as the suspects who voted for Hackenbacker. Think about why would a mafia member kill off two of their own members if you wanted to go after me?

Remind me again. What have you done? Besides killing Twisty, of course.

Edit: Hey Crimea, just curious. Have you given up on red text? Because I notice there isn't any pointing out a tie in the last villager phase.

Killed NON and Arch Domain.

Participated in killing NON and Arch Dornan, you mean.

None of it was actually your call though. Meaning, if it was up to you, we'd have never gone for them.

Look, the reason I picked Twisty was because of the "lazy clue" tricked me especially when Twisty said he left the thread to play Fallout It was a mistake, mistakes are meant to be made.

Nope, the red text is still a thing. I just didn't use it for the last tie because I figured it was pretty obvious, especially since it was the first one.

Thanks Crimea. Though, it was actually the second tie the villagers had.

Chowz, there are two possibilities to this.

You appeared in both lists. Both lists had one mafioso in it. The most likely possibility is that you're the mafioso.

However, I realize there is the possibility in which you're innocent. But in order for that to be true it would mean that two different mafioso voted on each list.

On that list, the only other remaining voters are Hackenbacker and Laud Piestrings.

Laud Piestrings has been inactive; her activity would make her pretty unreliable in the mafia voting phase.

Meanwhile Hackenbacker refused to vote for Arch Dornan, a mafioso. Choosing instead to vote for Max Burg

While on this list is CrowTheMagician, whose avatar as the Plague Doctor would mean he has access to many poisons and remedies.

I'm rescinding my vote for now. I realize there's still Hackenbacker to worry about. I'm going to take some time to think things out.

For now, we need to buy more time. I say we vote for Crow to dwindle down mafia numbers.

Last edited Jul 14, 2015 at 03:51PM EDT

Woah I may have a plague doctor as my avatar but that doesn't mean that I know jack about remedies and poisons, if anything plague doctors are nothing more but funny dressed con artists. If anything I find Luad more suspicious since she/he hasn't been active as much on this thread. Oh and lets not forget that Chowz here keeps on appearing on your lists, almost like a broken record really.

Ah screw it you people are just going to bandwagon regardless, if I'm going to die can I at least die in a duel.
