What "re-writes and retcons"? From what i remember the resident evil 2 remake was pretty faithful while also adding more stuff

Brad's death is one of the re-writes, althought that one did more good than harm….

I don't know why but I don't think we will have any breakthroughs this decade, I mean the 2010s didn't have all that many revolutionary inventions so I guess that is partially why.
