Map Legend
NEW CITIES May appear on the map over time, as a result of population growth and land development. Some areas already reached their maximum levels of cities, while some – such as unclaimed land – will take time to develop cities. Do not attempt to build more towns, that is not how it works.
- Gunpowder becomes widespread throughout the world and will be now counted as a technology every nation has.
- After a coordinated campaign, Southwest Oceania League emerges victorious in the Khalkhan invasion, having killed Daur Khal in battle after the Kun-de-Lain forces weakened down the southern horde. Without his leadership, the clans scattered, and armies of Simmer-Harena and Aoxia-Al Amarja were finally able to break through the northern fronts. New military tactics in the south proved to be decisive. Even with the fall of the Khalkhan Empire, it will take decades or even centuries for the razed lands to fully rebuild.
- The Kingdom of Sikong moves forth its armies, annexing previously decentralized land.
- Rexanian Realms centralize as the Rexanian king attempts to strengthen the crown’s authority in the lands and defeats the resulting coalition of autonomous vassals. Upon the execution of rebellious family heads, the Crown gives their lands to loyalists, strengthening their power and ensuring that the Lavarette dynasty reigns supreme.
- Kun-de-Lain Federation is formed from former clans, and adopts the government of a merchant republic. The newly formed power allies itself with the Kingdom of Sikong, threatened by Southwest Oceania League.
- Electors choose the Emperor from the Mansfeld dynasty reigning from Altmark, who rose into prominence after guiding the elector-county’s armies in the conquest of Phir.

- Mir Central Banking System is established, offering loans to the nation’s citizens. Moreover, the newly acquired land is put on sale, which allows rich merchants to buy farmlands, therefore becoming noble landowners.
- Sasmenid-bred horses are imported and introduced to the nation’s armies, serving as light and fast cavalry used for recon and flanking.
- Blast furnaces are built throughout the country. Steel’s superiority over iron comes at a price – the manufacturing process is expensive, so only the nobility can afford weapons or armor made from it. Those who do, however, enjoy massive improvements over iron gear.
- Rubber tree farming is introduced in Mir, with the goal of making natural rubber. Its main uses are ship waterproofing, food storage, and most commonly as a food item for chewing.
- Southern colonization effort goes well, and previously poorly inhabited areas are taken over and settled.

- The city of Quijogiro and nearby coast is raided for slaves, which are then sent to the mainland. Moreover, the coast is thoroughly looted, bringing huge profits to the raiders themselves.
- Horses are introduced into the nation’s military, as a light, maneuverable cavalry.
- Vertical windmills are built in the countryside, improving productivity and reducing the need for oxen to run the mills.
- School of the Arts is established in Ala, educating children in the art of sculpting and others in the art of war. Many moderately wealthy townsfolk see this as an opportunity for their children to rise in the world, and gladly send them to the Academy and for army training.
- With additional expansion and introduction of slaves, Harma Copper Mines become the biggest medieval source of copper in the world, exporting over 200 tonnes of copper per year.
- As a part of a defensive pact, Birgerelm joins a defensive war against Sasmenids on the side of the Kainereka. Birgerelm troops initially fail to land after a defeat in a naval battle near Manahat, and the war ends with a minor Kainerekan victory after a couple of years.

- Squid farming is on the rise providing much-needed black dyes and doubling as a food source.

- A spy organization is established, expanding greatly what previous individuals spymasters had at their disposal.
- The very limited number of books available to the largely illiterate (98%) populace is under the scrutiny of the censors, ensuring that no negative portrayal of Vesperia is in them. Every negative remark about the country or its leader is erased from historic records.

- After an agreement with Fellberg, Breakspear and Broken Spire, a large load is built up to the borders of Kun-de-Lain, which in turn expands the road up to Aoxia’s lands, facilitating land trade in the region and linking the east of the continent to the west.
- Horses are specifically breed for military use in heavy cavalry, and these armored units are introduced to the nation’s army.
- Painted Stonework is born as the newest trend in arts and crafts. Richer citizens are paying for their houses to be painted in this brightly coloured synthesis of art, sculpture and architecture, beginning a new artistic era on the continent.
