Wish my scanner wasn't busted, or that I had a tablet. I'm much better at drawing by hand.

• Anyway, I thought something was weird at the beginning of Party of One while AJ and Rainbow Dash were looking for Pinkie's surprises. I think it was the "camera" angle when Applejack pulled up the tennis ball. It seemed a bit different.
• Then when Rarity spit punch in Pinkie's face. Not because she didn't flinch, but because of the way she was staring at Rarity afterwards.
• And then after Pinkie sent Twilight and Fluttershy into the wall when dancing. Her face when she said "Come on, everypony!" seemed disconnected from what she was actually doing.
• AND then when she was goading everyone to stay at the party with more cake. That wasn't unnerving, but it did make me feel a little bad for Pinkie. Like she was more attached to her friends than they were too her (a terrible feeling.)

And then the scene with AJ, but that's obvious and not subtle at all. Have a picture for reading/scrolling past all of that.

Obviously, she's a little lighter, has different eyes, and a different hair color.

First time I saw this episode, I had to double take, because I was certain it was Pinkie in a wig.

Which isn't farfetched considering she hides in various places throughout the episode.

I actually follow the "Ask Tri-Pies", so that post appeared on my dashboard when the Tri-Pies reblogged it.

That is true, though you'd also have to make the ponies eyes green since James's eyes are green, but yeah, that's the first thing I think of when I see that pony is Team Rocket.

Word of God says most ponies have the same body model. However, it would make some more sense out of Pinkie showing up all of the time in that episode…

I think it was because I saw Party of One first, and the straight hair instantly made me think Pinkie. That, coupled with the pink, gives her an uncanny resemblance at a passing glance.

Close inspection reveals that her coat is a slightly different shade of pink, and her eyes aren't the same shade as Pinkie's, but I didn't get the close inspection when I saw the episode, so I almost fell out of my chair. The hair I could pass off as a wig, or dyed hair (Pinkie's a notorious prankster). I realize that its not pink at all, but violet. Its also short, but magic pretty much explains away all logical absurdities in this show.

In all honesty, I hoped it was Pinkie, because that would have fit in perfectly with her antics.

If you haven't seen the fan Vinyl Scratch animation with voice, you may want to check it out. It's really well done on all aspects. Her voice is a little less raspy than I would expect and she is a little more "chill" than my headcanon says, but the pitch is about right.

And here I thought the US Bronies were asleep, and burning_phoneix and makoncrayley were busy.

Anyway, I'm going to be American and sleep. And then be un-American and work hard tomorrow.

You have no idea just how much I loved that animation. Vinyl Scratch is best pony in all categories.

I just saw that Scratch animation now.

It was pretty good. The VA was good as well but I always imagined Scratch to have a more raspy voice like you said.

I wasn't planning on continuing the story. The original ending was a downer. The commander ends the chapter with "When will you join us ponies? We can't protect you much longer" and shows that humanity is losing a war against an Alien Empire. New orders come from the brass which basically state "No reinforcements incoming. Fight to the last shell and the last man". He knows that High command is withdrawing all protection of non-space travelling species to focus on defending mankind's colonies.

The commander takes matters into his own hands and devises one final "charge of the light brigade" against the enemy. His plan is to lower the enemy into Equestria's gravity well and kill all them by overloading the nuclear fusion engines on his own ships, sacrificing himself and his navy to create a "Kessler Syndrome" ring of debris around Equestria, protecting that planet from space for at least a century.

With the help of a fellow pony loving engineer, the commander has jury rigged an escape pod to be able to enter the atmosphere but unlikely to survive. When the Engineer discovers that the Commander is attempting to give ponies weapons and space technology, he objects saying that this would destroy their innocence and violate the Prime Directive far too much.

In the ensuing fight, the engineer is killed and the Commander makes it to Ponyville, but of course, he is dying. Everyone is afraid of him but he manages to raise his hand towards Twilight, she understands the feeling from the tower and raises her hoof to his hands. He directs her that the escape pod has all the info she needs (as well as many video and text logs addressed to her from him) and his final words are:

"I'm so sorry….we tried so hard….we fought so hard…."

I didn't like that downer ending so I just went with a happy one where the commander represents us bronies: He wakes up, works and then watches ponies all day.

But….I have an idea for a second chapter. Let it stew in my head for a while and I'll get back to you.

it can be a thread about pretty much anything. some troll drops a pony pic saying 'this is now a pony thread' and leaves. and bam, it will turn into flamewar and picture spam untill the thread is locked.

the only place in a matter of fact that doesn't respond that way is the newgrounds forum…

• The first sentence is my conceptual concern. It is a random board with no rules. It is /b/. If you make rules for /b/, then they should only prevent the destruction of the board or site (Boxxy is the only topic to merit that.) From what Philip J. Formerly Fry and DPF said, Pony does not threaten /b/. It's just really annoying to see. But if you put too many non-crucial limitations on /b/, then it is no longer the invincible /b/ of lore. It loses its mystique.
• The second part is why I agree with a specific Pony ban in other cases. It can derail other threads, because of its ability to start sh*t. So keeping Pony limited to one thread in the relevant boards (and maybe for /b/, as well) actually serves a definitive purpose.

EDIT: I just realized that my thoughts contradict my previous thoughts on the locked General thread talking about the ban. I've created two posts that debunk the each other. I'm not sure if I can't trust myself anymore.
