Don't worry about the crappy names. They shouldn't be considered official. The toy names always get the real names wrong (they named Roseluck's toy FLOWER WISHES), so they can still be Lyra, Berry Punch and Carrot Top.

I like'em. They dun goofed real bad with Berry Punch, but they did real good with Lyra and Carrot Top. And did you guys see the Big Mac one? It looks good to.

Yeah, I don't mind Lyra, Blues, and Berry's names that much. That being said, to.me Carrot Top is definitly remaining Carrort Top.

I think what bugs me more then the names are the pictures on the cards. Lyra/Heartstrings, Y U steal Twilight's body?!

Hey guys, for clarity, let's just keep calling the background ponies by their fanon names (Lyra, Berry Punch, and Carrot Top) until the show itself references their names.

But can we make it? I mean, after so long calling the backgrounds by their nicknames, if one gets a canon name that doesn't really suit, I'll find it hard to get used to it.

What is it that most unicorns have that most other ponies don't? Magic. I bet even with the most mundane magic you'd probably be able to get or make more booze.

Well, I dunno. I do think "Heartstrings" as a last name for Lyra works well (note: that is my new headcanon), but… eh. Berryshine? Really?

I must be the only one whose only bugged by Carrot Top's name, ah well, forever alone and all that, and it's pretty funny. Fanon how Fanon Luna = nope.avi, but the fanon background ponies = M. Bison "yes!"

I didn't have a problem with fanon Luna. I had a problem with fanon Luna being depicted as a second Fluttershy.

IMO they follow the shape of the main cast too much. Lyra and Berry Punch's mane are completely different from Twilight and Rarity. Yet they make both the image and the toy a simple recoloring of the two. It's probably budget and stuff, and the target group probably won't care. But still, I am kinda disappoint.

As for the names: Meh, could've been worse. As they're simple recolorings, they aren't the real Lyra and Berry to me. I'll stick with the fandom names and shape.

You be right, muted bunny. Even if Studio B has tipped its hat to us, Hasbro isn't going to. But they don't have to. They look through us when we post episodes on YouTube, so I can't complain about toys.

Names: They aren't terrible. Heartstrings isn't bad. I actually kinda like Golden Harvest. I mean, we still call Derpy Hooves that as opposed to Ditzy Doo (when we have a little evidence to say that's her canon name.) No biggie. I'll just be sitting here waiting for a soundtrack and a Season 1 DVD set to show some actual support meanwhile.

And possibly that Pinkie ornament. I kinda want that too.
