I thought you have finally snapped and come over to each of our house individually and kill each and everyone of us and turn us into donuts because just like donuts we make you happy. =D

….
Don't sneak into my house and look at my battle plans
Now you spoiled the surprise.

Anyway, Berry and Seabreeze (Dinky's sister) were teleporting from between the bleachers and the race towards the end of it. So yeah, I'm still ignoring Pinchy/Berry and Dinky/Seabreeze thing. Confound my headcanon.

Well that episode confirms rarity as a total-badass. Did you see how fast she was? And strong? And all without using magic. Let's see Twilight do THAT.

I've always known Rarity was an athlete. Or at least that she was strong. That's just not her tendency.

  • Episode 2, Season 1
    • Didn't she kick that manticore straight in the mo?
  • Episode 16, Season 1
    • Effortlessly knocks Twilight into a bookcase. With her rump. Effortlessly.
  • Episode 1 and 2, Season 2
    • Tom. Struggling or not, it's a boulder.

I've seen Twilight (nearly being killed by the landslide in Dragonshy) and Fluttershy (having trouble carrying anything larger than small animals) have trouble with basic athletic skills of Pony, but I can't think of any instance where Rarity was less than capable, if not moderately strong.

APPLEJACK. Brilliant, Studio B! Applejack is so perfect, that you use her perfection as a way to create conflict to use her in more episodes! Genius!

Sweetie Belle confirmed as nitwit…

Rarity's parents wat. I have to watch that sequence again to make sense of that completely.

  • Do Rarity's parents live there? If so, did we really never see them for the entire show so far?
  • Did they stop by to drop off Sweetie Belle before leaving for vacation? But doesn't she go to school with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo?

I guess the last one makes some sense, and Rarity never had to say that she was watching Sweetie Belle when she was with her in previous episodes.

Also, Rarity's parents and Rarity's personality and demeanor wat. If I didn't say that before.

Ha. I don't even have a headcanon. I win, Hasbro loses.

Well, I hope you don't get irritated easily if people start writing them as they were shown on the show.

Faust had already told that we would see some pony parents, but never thought it would be Rarity's. As I could see, they have a totally opposite personality than her daughter's (more easy going and less perfectionalist) and it made them look great for me.

And totally ruins some fanon that Sweetie is Rarity's daughter lol

This may be a sign that Faust was needed to help bring sense to the show and now she no longer makes it. Why Faust why??

Um, doesn't she still work with them on it though? I could've sworn she stayed on as some kinda role.

Wait? Seriously? That's fanon??

The hay is with people??

Just tried firefox… I hate it. I'll just have to deal with Chrome dragging my computer down to the BSoD.

I had problems with Chrome when trying to get to a stream. I had to wait for the second airing. Firefox actually caused my computer to konk out completely. Not sure of the terminology, but I had to reinstall Windows. It was an awful task for a person that knows little about computers. I won't use it again.

I actually use Opera for, um, other video anime related browsing. It's the browser for the Nintendo DSi. I thought it ran well given the low browsing capabilities of the DSi, so I installed it on my desktop. I actually should use it more often. It worked swimmingly for today's stream.

Also, CitationNeeded gets all of my krama for being astute in a couple of posts. Celestia is no longer a fanon synonym for God. It would have been better if she had said "Luna" though. I would have loved to see the Brony response to that. But the in-universe explanation for why she didn't is probably that Celestia had been ruling the world/Equestria for a thousand years before. The supposed 1-year co-reign (if she's back to raising the moon as implied at the end of Episode 2, Season 1) probably isn't enough to bring her to the front of consciousness as the closest thing to a god (or at least not past Celestia.)

Also, where is your fanon now?

I've got a few more of these in my mind. Prepare yourself…

Weird, Firefox hasn't caused any of my computers to crap out.

I missed you Verbose, never leave.

I think several of us were. I know I used it a couple of times, and now it's official.

I was kidding, I honestly have no problem with whatever the fans decide to name any of the ponies. I just thought it'd be a funny situation if had a problem with it.

@Ideological Aerostat
Which part are you talking about. Rarity's parents?
I wouldn't put that as a failing of Studio B. I'm sure most people on this thread will say they're nothing like either of their parents. Also, genetics and parental raising aren't the only factors in determining how a person will act. I'd just say that Rarity is nothing like her parents. Besides, since Faust knew that there were going to be parents (but didn't know about the nixing of the Rarity scene in Luna Eclipsed,) I'd imagine that she was actually involved in developing the parents' personalities.

I was just saying that I was surprised. Pleasantly so. Neither Rarity or Sweetie Belle seem to be much like their parents.

Also, if Rarity is living on her own, then mane six confirmed for being adults. They aren't the equivalent of human 12-year olds as some others have suggested.

@Dr. Raymond Stantz
According to Lauren Faust, she is no longer working on the show in any capacity. Jayson Thiessen has taken up that role in earnest. Her influence and her creation is still intact, and Studio B wouldn't do anything to break it outright, but she's not involved with making it into the finished product anymore.

Personally, I believe Jayson or a few of the higher ups might ask for clarification in planning the worlds or personality traits once a week or so once the writing is being done, but that is just my thinking. She says she isn't involved at all and has moved on.

Pft, those kinda people are crazy to begin with, trust me, I know as a Harry Potter fan and some of them were like "lol occult" and I was all ಠ_ಠ.

Possibly but also the whole Dinky/Seabreeze thing and the canon background pony names.

@Dr: Fargo? Hmmmm……

Also, Rarity's parents and Rarity's personality and demeanor wat. If I didn't say that before.

I'm also confused at Rarity's parents. They just handwaved that entire sequence.

When they left, I was like Ezio at the ending of Assassin's Creed 2

"Wait! don't go! I have so many questions!"

Also, please read that in an Italian accent.

Well… that was awesome.
Thoughts on the new episode:

Does Rarity actually live with her parents? Or do they live somewhere else and Sweetie Belle just visits from time to time? So much left unanswered!

Beginning of the episode made Rarity seem like a total bitch (even more than usual). If I could teleport through my computer screen, I would have been strangling her. Nopony messes with Sweetie Belle.

When Rarity saw Sweetie Belle's drawing…

Actually, that episode was filled with 'HNNHGGG' moments. I was having cute-induced heart attacks for the full twenty minutes, and I'm sure I got diabeetus a couple times too.

Applejack is now 2nd best pony (behind Twilight of course). She was really good in this episode. I'd still like to see one more focused on her though.

Wait… Berry Punch is actually Overprotective Sister? Meh, why not. Also, Dinky =/= Derpy's sister? This is news to me.

Honestly, I didn't see the ending coming. Rarity is no longer a bitch, and is now… 4th best pony? Or maybe 3rd. It's getting hard to keep track of the order now.

No Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, or Rainbow Dash?! Seriously?!
I'm not complaining, it was a great episode anyway. It's just surprising that we only got to see a third of the mane 6 for an entire episode.

I can't. I'm not good at accents.

I did :D

And for now, that's my new head canon. Simple and reasonable
