Good times. Made catching up and reading everyone's thoughts instead of scanning them a lot easier. But there were also times of strict image wars. The future has it's pros and cons.

Only thelivingmachine could almost make me miss Season 1 fanon Luna art. Has his own tumblr now too for sketches and stuff, by the way. Awesome humanizations with the occasional pony.

But I'll get over the loss of Season 1 fanon Luna.

Hey everyone, just sharing some news. Parappa the troller is back under the name "lol u fat?" or something like that. I remember him mentioning somewhere that he made that account before Parappa the troller but gave it up for some reason (I don't keep tabs on all the places I lurk). So far, he's done nothing wrong. Just trying to blend into the brony community. Just letting everyone know to be ready in case of something.

I'm thinkin Giga is either doing stuff (ie non-Pony stuff) or someone gave him a subterranean apartment in the Graveyard hotel.

Took me ages finding it again, but this is my favourite humanised pony image.

Also, will somebody explain why humanised ponies always get a negative response in this thread? I don't see what makes them so offensive. The only thing to get a worse response is Rule 34. Even grimdark is better received.

I kind of miss fanon Luna. Before she was given an actual personality, people could be creative in their portrayal of her. More often than not, people would go for the SadLuna approach, and that got pretty tiring after a while, but occasionally people would manage to create a really interesting or funny character (see fanfic Progress). Now that her personality is cast in stone, there's not going to be as much variety in fanfiction or art, and as somebody who values the fandom as much as the show, that's a little disappointing.
Just to clarify: I really like how she was portrayed in Nightmare Night. I think the producers did a great job, and she's quickly become one of my favourite characters. I'm just saying that I think it's a shame that some really awesome fan-made personalities have been made invalid.

Whenever an episode airs, on that weekend we gain some 15-20 pages. I was gone for Luna eclipsed, and when I got back, boom! Nearly 20 pages. Kinda hard to keep up with that.

In fact it was so many tabs to preload each page, that I had to disable ALL plugins on my computer just to be able to read without the browser crashing.

When an episode hits, my browser starts using just over a GB of RAM to load all tabs. @ 1.3GB of last time. My computer has plenty, but it slows down to a crawl to keep up with that much info at once. And my computer is by no means slow (Core i7, 8GB RAM, etc)

The vid that was posted to my earlier post just had no relation with it at all. It was just a vid posted out of boredom (no offense to the poster).

In reply to Algernon as to why on earth Human ponies get weirdly negative reactions, I have no idea bro. One person once said the reason was because "they were ponies on the show, so they shouldn't be portrayed as humans or anything else"….which is just bullshit.

If that was the case, then all fanart and fanwork of any kind should be banned, as they clearly didn't actually do any of the stuff they do in the fanart in the show. Those people who try and remove all creativity from fanwork…they're fools.

What's going on here?! Nothing illegal I hope.
