It's been stated several times that the mane 6 are of age.

How can a horse really be 'of age' though?

So is this thread locked or not, I R confused, and let me restate that. They're old enough to where shipping them shouldn't be considered pedophilia.

I thought we already determined that the mane 6 cast is at least: 18 in human years and that the CMC are like 12+ in human years.

the first two episodes dont really do justice for (to?) the show.

As u start watching, u will probably notice that despite being "a girly show" somehow, through characterization this show appeals to other viewers as well. Or you can watch if for the plot. Like many of us do.

Nah, it isn't locked at all.

It seems to be back on track with the ponies and all (and I wouldn't have locked it anyway).

It's just interesting that someone would argue that its pedophilia, when they aren't human, but I suppose the topic must arise in any sort of anthropomorphized animal.

I think the show tends to be pretty hit-or-miss, for myself at least. I mean, I tend to enjoy the episodes centering on RD while ones where she plays a lesser role doesn't really appeal to me.

I enjoyed Season 1 Episode 13, but again, I have a bias.

FEELING PINKIE KEEN IS THE BEST EPISODE YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

I think Ticket Master is a good start as well. You get to see all of the mane characters pretty much in character. From that, you might be able to tell who you like most. From there, we can suggest other episodes, if you'd like.

Personally, I watch it for moments like this.

Then I'd avoid the Hearts and Hooves episode like the plague if I were you. Also, you have to keep in mind that these ARE NOT real horses. As it was posted, they could be considered anthropomorphic giving that they talk and do humanish things as well.

I don't mind most shipping, but anything invovling the underage characters or Granny Smith is disturbing to me.

Also, one of my personal favorites is Bridle Gossip, though of course it helps that my favorite character has one of the best scenes in the show I think.

Oh sure. If you were wondering about that remark about anthro I made earlier. I was afraid someone would try to post ponies with boobs after I just talked about ponies generally not having boobs. I know such images exist.

But I like anthro where is it used appropriately.

I'm pretty sure the Star Trek series had many anthro characters used throughout its history. So you should be able to fit anthro ponies in there pretty easily. Most of the time Star Trek just called them aliens
