If you can train yourself to lucid dream you really can force yourself to dream of ponies. I tried learning it once, and the problem is that it makes your regular dreams more vivid. That means whenever you dream of something seriously f*cked up, you get to see it in full HD and you'll likely never forget it. Bad times.

So, Princess Celestia is this really generous ruler, and gives Granny Smith's family a plot of land to farm.
Right next to the Everfree forest.
I don't know. Maybe there's a good reason that the leader of the pony race would put her people right next to the forbidden forest of monsters and demons.

To set up a border? And I dunno. I think there's more than monsters and demons there. Magic Apples? Electric trees? Weather that happens on its own? There are are dark powers at work here. Nay, not even dark powers. Lovecraftian powers, some sort of twisted eldritch evil that must not be awakened.

The monsters really don't seem to be territorial outside their own forest and I'll be honest, If I was a farmer that land right next to the Everfree looks mighty fertile indeed. Just as long as nobody does anything stupid like going into the forest (which ponies seem to do with alarming regularity)

If you were going for creepy then you got part of it.
In all honestly it seemed like something that's more "Regal or Elegant" as opposed to creepy.
It sounds like something that can be heard around the Victorian Era.

It does during a few aspects. The ticking of the clock is a nice touch. But most "creepy" stuff are usually more low toned as opposed to high tones. High tones are more "light" as opposed to low tones which are usually associated with dark and ominous stuff.

I was trying to make it start out as a regular Twilight-y melody and then dissolve into assonance. Maybe I'm not meant to make music.
