A valentines day ep, eh?
I'm betting on MacintoshXEverypony, and another attempted SpikeXRarity. They're the only regular male characters in the show, so unless they introduce some new characters there's not really much else to go on. If there are new characters, they'll likely be a bunch of jerks that'll get rejected in the end just so that they won't end up becoming part of the permanent cast. I'm also betting on one of the following morals:
"Don't go chasing after guys and abandon your friends. Colts come and go, but your friends will be there forever." (Cheesy, but it seems like the kind of idea the show tries to promote)
Or:
"Don't worry if you can't get a date. There's somepony out there for everypony, but you have to be patient." (Clichéd, but with good reason)
Also, anyone who even thinks that there might be lesbian shipping deserves to be sent back to Kindergarten. Twice. While homosexuality is pretty much universally accepted throughout the developed world, it's still not at the point where parents are comfortable letting their kids know about it. There's probably more chance of there being an episode on drug abuse than one with mare-on-mare romance.

Though honestly, I'm glad this thread is back up to full speed.
I also just thought of an alternative scenario. It might be an episode revolving around Cheerilee's students. That way they could make the topic as innocent as possible, and it would seem more natural when somepony gives up on their crush (since kids seem to do that daily).
