I'm just saying, people saying they hated the episode doesn't mean everyone hated it. I actually liked the episode. I do agree, however, that RD needs some development that doesn't paint her as a total jerk.

Looks like the new episode will do just that.
And I've mentioned it before, but I really liked how Rainbow was painted to be extremely insecure in Sonic Rainbow and Fall Weather Friends, which was why I voted for those as my favorite breakdown things, as they gave actual character development rather than just insanity for the sake of insanity. I would love to see some more on that, and I'm thinking Read It and Weep may have some of that (knowing Rainbow).

As I said under my Nightmare Moon guise on EqD, the thing about Dash that I don't like is that she's comparable to Trixie, and yet people who like Dash hate Trixie, it confuses me.

Let's ask the Engineer about that.
Engineer, what do you have to say about that?
I see.
But seriously, Rainbow actually did the stuff she bragged about, and she was better about it than Trixie (except maybe for The Episode That Must Not Be Named).
Not to mention she's perfectly aware of how much of a braggart she is (she mentioned something about how bragging was her job in Boast Busters).

Voldemort got his own episode?… Voldemort is now best pony.

True, but Trixie is, or was a showmare, bragging comes with the territory and Dash still brags about it and honestly, it still gets on my nerves a bit.

Honestly, it's like at the end of the Mysterious Mare Do Well episode. Yes, you can be good at something, but don't let it go to your head which Dash seems to do.

Which reminds me, that was another big thing I hated about Mare Do Well – the lesson had already been done for Boast Busters.
And it wasn't just Rainbow Dash's dickishness that I disliked, it was everypony else's. The rest of the main characters basically rubbed Rainbow Dash's muzzle in how much better the Mare Do Well was than her, and it kinda made me a bit sick.
Plus, the ending basically said "Oh, I get what I did wrong, okay, The End". That's it.
It wasn't the worst thing evar as some bronies might have you believe, but yeah, it was probably my least favorite episode.
And it was still better than most of the crap on modern television, heh.
AND DAMMIT BEFORE SOMEONE SAYS IT WE'RE NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF A FLAME WAR WE'RE HAVING A SPIRITED DEBATE. NOBODY IS BEING MEAN TO EACH OTHER AND WE'RE ALL ACKNOWLEDGING EACH OTHER'S PERSONAL PREFERENCES/DIFFERENCES AND THIS IS NOT A FLAME WAR OR ARGUMENT JUST A DEBATE THANK YOU.
cough
Sorry about that.
Continue.

To me, granted, yeah, they went a bit overboard on the fake super hero thing, but Dash in that state would've more then likely called them jealous of the attention that she was getting.

Also, the friendship reports sometimes tend to repeat. Luna Eclipsed's one was basically a friendship report that repeated the lesson from Bridle Gossip.

Hmm. Yeah, you've got a point there.

I agree with you, this is merely a conversation of opinions in which we acknowledge the opinions of our other members. And I do agree that everyone in that episode did take their "dickishness" (needs to be a real word btw) to great heights.

Also, nice avatar. I don't think I got to comment on it.

opspe colored it for me at my request. Go give him an Internet for that.

Lol, they clone the audience all the time, but as someone pointed out, they have to do that since drawing a lot of ponies for an audience scene would take FOREVER!

^ Why am I this guy?

I was in the US Air Force ROTC, not the German Army.

Not that I have a problem with being Ed Harris.

That's me though. :(

@Dr.Ray: The reason he's with all the ponies is because he represents me…..geddit? :D

I liked the episode, I tend to like storylines that revolve around family and this one was of them and Granny Smith is possibly now related to Pinkie Pie. It was awesome.

Timber Wolves were beastly as all fuck, loved them.

Also, I loved the Mare Do Well episode as it showed Rainbow Dash for THE VAIN, SELF CENTERED BRAGGART SHE REALLY IS! >:[

New far-fetched solution:

Ponies live for a really, really long time. That way, Granny Smith's family did found Ponyville, and they've been cleaning up winter for hundreds of years.

@Cite

That has to be the worst trolling idea I've ever seen.

It's funny 'cause they think we'll actually care. They're doing a 20 episode marathon, and all that will do is replace one average episode with arguably one of the worst ones. There'll still be 19 episodes getting picked legitimately, so really, who gives a damn?

I don't know why I didn't say anything about this when you first posted it, but I will now. That's what is awesome about this fandom, it's just that untrollable and well, if that's their idea of trolling this fandom, it makes me want to laugh.

Internet, Y U no have scene of the Ghostbusters laughing in the courtroom?!

I enjoyed the episode, especially the historical part. I thought that was well-done. Just one thing though:

HOW IS SHE STANDING?

Try line dancing one of these days. Does wonderful things for your balancing abilities. Also gives you super powers.

HAHA ! THIS PLEASES US! ALL THIS INCONSPICUOUS TALK ABOUT THE NEW EPISODE!
OUR VERY OWN CHRONICLES!

AND NONE NOTICED OUR MESSAGE TO THE FAITHFUL, SNUCK RIGHT UNDER THE NOSES OF THE COMMON RABBLE!
OUR PARTICIPATION IN BUILDING THE FUTURE TOWN OF THE ELEMENT-BEARERS WAS NOT FORGOTTEN, WE HEAR EVERYTHING AND SEE EVERYTHING, AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY, THE FUTURE AS IS THE PAST IS OURS!!

WE ARE THE PONINATI.
WE RUN THIS.

TL;DR My profile pic is now canon, deal with it!

Well, this one time I was watching desperate housewives then MLP before I went to sleep. That gave me a very awkward pony dream, you could try that.

Three letters: LSD. You don't even have to be asleep!

ahahaha

Actually though, I would say don't force it. If you try to make yourself have such dreams you probably won't.

Yeah that too. I apologize for any future diabetus from this gif.

Dash my not be my favorite, but the ones of her sleeping on the clouds are adorable.

As for the con, yeah, I live in Texas, so that's unfortunately not going to be happening.

Someone forgot that they're ponies apparently, and lol, Lyra just wants hands, not feet.

Well, that was probably recycled from an old model where they were wearing full fursuits (yes, I went there) like when AB was doing it earlier with Granny (oh Celestia, why did i go there?).

Then they changed their mind and just had the ears, but a paw got left behind.
