Okay, I figure the artist must work on the show, because that art is accurate to within 3 microns. And the writing is spot-on too.

Although some of those strips are more like a PBS pledge drive.

Sorry, but since that reference was in season 2, chances are Faust had nothing to do with it. I think she's often given too much credit for the show. I'm not saying she isn't wonderfully talented or anything, but some bronies seem to forget that there's a whole team working on FiM. Those other guys need some love too!

The one where they make cupcakes is alright I guess, but the one with apple pie is great. It isn't exactly child-friendly, but the humour and voice acting is awesome.

^This. That's easily one of my favourite pony blogs. I just wish the artist would spend less time doing commissions and more time working on the blog, but I suppose he has to make a living somehow.

Correction: The MLP team referenced the Big Lebrowski but my point still stands. I could switch back to Ideological but then Verbose would be sad.

Yeah, I followed it after seeing it on Ponibooru or going from one of my other followed tumblrs. I stopped after the commission thing. As one person said, it makes the tumblr feel…dirty to me. I guess I always assumed that people did it for fun, and that they stopped doing it when they had no material, the blog ran its course (i.e., crookedtrees' Pinkamina,) or it stopped being fun. I figured donations and commission were a given, but I would think that fan artists' would know better than to bank on getting money for their work. Dunno.

It's unfortunate. Like Citation said, it's pretty much a clip from an episode from the writing to the art.

As for the Stinkehund art, it's really well done. I'll have to browse it when I'm off of my Fire Emblem run.

And yeah, stop quoting massive posts, especially if you have just one sentence to say on it. It's only important unless you need to address the entire post or address a post from the previous page. "@whomever" and italicizing/blockquotes work just fine. I don't think anyone has that weak of a memory.

However, I don't think anyone who'd do that in the first place would bother to read this anyway or don't mind seeing the exact same YouTube embeds and gifs…over…and over…and over again with the only change being a HNNNNNNGGG thrown.
 
 
…I think I'm raging a bit. But I'm just asking to take it into consideration. I believe it's more trouble to scroll through a lot of nothingness (even considering the thread,) than to just type @whomever.

Oh lord, this. I hate it when a single person is given all the credit for one thing. Like pretty much every major rock band in the past 30 years. Or Minecraft is another good example. Notch is pretty much given all the credit for it, but there's a whole team of people at Mojang working on it. Yes, a small team, but still, it's more than just Notch. And right now (and always has been), it's more than just Faust working on ponies.
Now that I think of it, I don't really know what Faust's role in the making of the show is.

I find the donations annoying too, but the artist is obviously doing the blog for fun as well. Plus, some of the commissions are pretty good.

I have no problem with artists asking for donations. There is no problem with having fun and making a quick buck while you're at it. Plus, you don't have to give them anything if you don't want to.

I want that ability, the ability to summon one of the ponies via clapping, that would be awesome!
