Hai guys.

So, for all the ones who celebrate it (and the ones who don't too), have a Merry Christmas. I'll be traveling next Tuesday, but I'll see if I can still get in touch with you here.

And hope that you've got nice presents from Santa Derpy cause I sure did!

And HO, HO, HO, Page GET!

Merry Christmas people.

What would be the signifigance of a Hearth's Warming tree. They're canon since Rarity had a tree hat, but why are they a part of the tradition.

Yeah, everypony better get on liek now, because I'm mostly done with family time and it is now the time for gaming and stuffs…

@Gigatoast

Here have some of your favorite pony to make you happy!

Well, I didn't know my parents were so good at trolling…

I should provide some backstory for this to make sense. A couple of months ago, my mom sent me an article in the local paper about bronies. We had a pretty decent discussion about them – my former housemate was a brony so I had heard of the phenomenon before. We agreed that it was a fascinating sociological phenomenon and left it at that. Now, they give me this as a joke. They have no idea of my interest – or that Twilight happens to be the best pony.

Well played.

And Happy Christmas / Hannukah / Yule / Hearth-warmingv/ whatever else might be being celebrated.

Your mother is quite possibly the best troll alive.

And yet she failed miserably.

Hooray! My internet is back up and running and I can browse this enormous, data-heavy thread once again. Lets see how many WHOA HO HO WHOOOA!! OVER 20 PAGES SINCE I LAST POSTED HERE!?

How long was I gone for?

Anyway @opspe

I get the impression that your parents secretly know ;) I bet my folks would have done the same if the toys were available here and they know all about it

Don't forget to brush Twilights mane before you go to bed.

In other news, and speaking of relatives knowing your Bronyism: My Dad discovered my pony sketches this morning. He had no comment and expressed no emotion

Ah, I got nothing pony related this Christmas. You can consider yourself lucky.

But I got an awesome Simpsons' poster that has already been put on my wall

Heh, my dad would never believe me if I said I was a brony. And even if he did believe me, he would probably tease me about it every now and then and leave it be.
Well, at least I hope so.
He does… kinda… watch FOX News….
sigh

I found a Fluttershy doll in my nieces toy box.

Also I seen "The Rise of The Planet of The Apes", the movie was crazy and explained a lot. But I am kind of disappoint of the ending though…They left a gap between this movie and the first movie.

Lemme ask: What's the matter with FOX News in there? Seems that it only gives bad information about bronies and other stuff (not that things are perfect here too)

Ah, right, you're Brazilian.

This was a small report one of their "edgy" shows did on bronies.
This isn't even FOX's stupidest report.
The winner of that goes to the Mass Effect scandal.
If you've played the game in it's entirety, it'll make you want to gouge someone's eyes out.

BSOD wrote:

I highly doubt it – you have to remember, we live in separate countries most of the year.

And welcome back, I see NZ Telecom got its shit together….

@Dr. Greg: FOX News is extremely conservative and, from what I can tell, frequently, er…"adjusts" news stories to suit their agenda. Now I'm not saying other networks don't do that too, it's just FOX gets called out a lot.

I should add an addendum to my previous post: in all honesty, I didn't really want a toy to begin with. I'm not the type to get really into merchandise and stuff. And now that I have it, I don't think I'll ever be playing with it, but I'll definitely keep it – if for nothing else than for the hilarity of my parents' unintentional trolling.

OK, now I've seen what the fuss is all about.

….

Words cannot describe my feelings right now.

……

And they didn't even put the right thing.

…..

…..

…..

FUCK!

Just quoting your post again: I think you're not alone mate:

And welcome back, I see NZ Telecom got its shit together….

For now anyway, NZ has the worlds worst internet as far as first world countries go. Telecom is entirely to blame for that. If it goes down again, I won't be surprised.

So aside from opspe, how many people here have acquired those pony figurines? Just curious.

Not me. Like I said, Dad doesn't know I'm a brony.
And besides, those figures are kinda creepy.

If I were to guess why they look creepy, I'd suspect the hairstyle (at least for the hair-brushable ones anyway). For some reason they remind me of balding men with long mullets.

The only merchandise I can see myself buying are the t-shirts

I'd like to have T-shirts too. But there is just one type of MLP toy that I would buy, that are the miniatures. Those are the smallest, but at least are the most accurate of the line.

Yeah, I think it's the hair.
If they released some (semi accurate) plushies, I'd buy one.
Well… I would…
if I wasn't afraid to admit I was a brony….

Shut up.

Yeah when I moved from Saudi Arabia to Kiwistan I was thinking "No country can have shittier internet than Saudi Arabia, except possibly poor African nations that can't afford food".

But lo and behold. >:[

At least our internet quality is better than North Korean internet…that's not saying much.

There are so many things wrong about NZ internet. Constant disconnections and faulty wires. Slow speeds, ancient hardware. Many rural area's still run on dialup and some parts of the south have no internet whatsoever.

But that's going off topic so I should probably add a pony in here somewhere….

…lets see, what do we have here in the image gallery today….Oh look! Starcraft Ponies! My favorite kind

PS: Kiwistan? Hehe, is that what we get called over there?

Hum, tha same can be said in here I suppose. Only that the lack of net happens mostly in the north and northeast.

@Onarole

@Fox News Issue
As the most liberal person in my state (no joke or exaggeration), I absolutely loath FAUX NEWS as a liberal, a scientist, and an atheist.

I also love citing the poll that shows that FOX NEWS veiwers are less informed (or more misinformed, I can't remember which, and there is a difference) than people that watch no news at all.

@Toys

I really want the plastic molded figurines (except they cost a ton and only have semi-accurate mane six plus evil clones) and am still looking for the show accurate Twilight plushie I saw months ago. I don't have any though. I want to collect a ton of brony shirts and hopefully get some HASBRO made merch (just to support the show).

It's an injoke between me and my brothers ever since we found out that the Iranian name for Saudi Arabia is Arabstan (-stan being the suffix meaning "land of") so we append it to every country.

Canuckistan= Canada
Kiwistan = New Zealand
NIPPONUSTANU=Japan
Aussiestan= OZ

And so on.

So I demanded my family give me a tone of iTunes gift cards for Christmas, why you ask? Because they've inadvertently given me the greatest gift of all, the gift of HD ITUNES PONIES! I can enjoy all of season two as it premieres in stunning high-definition and speak on a level of smug superiority having supported the show beyond buying some cheap plastic toys!

BUCK YEH!

I'm defiantly going to buy my favourite episodes. The other ones I'll either live without or download somewhere else (RIP ponyarchive).

Can most brony PMVs/remixes be downloaded? They sometimes include a link in the description right?

Anyway, back to setting up itunes… puts on le hipster glasses

There are websites like ZamZar.com or programs like the YouTube to iTunes converter to get PMVs and songs that don't have DL links on your hard drive.

@Gigatoast
Blah. Believe you me, I'd buy those episodes first thing… if I could.
I have no moneys.
Or a credit card.
Meh.
I hate being in high school. Without a job.

@Gigatoast
Why did you download both the HD and non-HD versions?

If only I had that kind of money to burn, oh wait, I do. But I'm cheap, so very cheepcheep. (Less than $50 a year usually.)

ALSO:
Is Zamzar trustworthy? My dad will freak out if we get another computer virus.
