Part one; Chapter three
I awoke with a swaying feeling, and I fell off of whatever I was on, and the swaying continued.
I looked around, my eyes still opening.
It looked like a cabin, but it was too out of shape to be one.
On the shelves were broken compasses and guns with no ammo, it seemed like it was some sort of joke.
The walls were covered in pirate memorbillia, covered with flags and whatnot.
I noticed a small desk near me with some soup on it, and a small statue.
Not hungry, I went towards the statue; upon further inspection I found it was a Buddha Statue.
I looked at it with my head cocked and smiled.
I felt delirious and figured my brain was swaying, not the room.
Then the statue talked.
I jumped back about a foot, landing on my back.
"Go up."
I looked at it, with a dazed look on my face.
The day was becoming stranger and stranger.
It repeated "You will find the way, up."
I looked around; there were no stairs, nor ladders.
"Up?"
The statue motioned for me to come closer, so I did.
It smacked me upside the head "Think harder."
I thought Buddha was supposed to be kind.
I stumbled around, dizzy and confused-my captors most have used some sort of drug on me.
The room began spinning, and colors started forming.
The last thing I remember was falling down, square on my head-passing out.
I had a dream, as I lay on the cold, wooden floor.
I was surrounded by that Buddha statue, all of them spoke in unison.
"Up."
"Up."
"UP."
I awoke, and I no longer felt so delirious.
I walked over to the Buddha, and it did not talk to me.
The room did not spin, and there were no colors.
But that creaky swaying was still there.
After about an hour worth of looking, there was no stairway.
No pole, ladder, elevator or even hole in the ceiling.
It was like that room was its own world, and I suddenly felt very alone.
Very alone and claustrophobic.
I rummaged through the desks and shelves, and the only interesting thing I could find was a board game.
I sighed and threw it on the floor, and lay on by hammock.
The pieces to it were spheres with flat bottoms, so they naturally rolled.
One rolled to me, so out of curiosity I looked at it.
It was a sickly green, almost the same color as my skin.
On the bottom were two small letters.
I grinned.
I found up.
