What's with your username?

Seriously.

I don't get it.

Give an explanation in this thread.

My explanation:
I joined this site after I purchased Banjo-Kazooie (again) for my N64. Captain Blubber was my favourite character as a small child and continues to be to this day.

Oh, and if you're one of those cool kids who uses their real name, explain why you aren't creative enough to have a sweet-ass username.

I got my username from my youtube account. I was going to have it called Joefilms, but I mispelled films so it was Joeflims. It wasn't taken, so I just used it. Now, it is the name for all my web accounts.

I use my real name because I believe in honesty. That's all there is to know, really. Though, there have only been two sites not meant for communication purposes where I have revealed my real name, one of them being this site. I have several pen names to choose from, but I decided to stick to my real name. Also, I could have changed it, but this site has proven itself to be trustworthy enough for me to have no need to.

@Jostin

I never go by my real name on the internet.

On the internet you can be anyone, a tough guy, a woman or if you work in the FBI a 10 year old girl. Going by my real name has always seemed really lame, that's why I haven't joined social networking sites. Also I've stopped going by the same username on different sites. Partly because I have so many awesome username ideas and because it makes me feel untraceable.

But that's just me.

I believe my login name is still TOTAL LEE (which is my adopted pen name), even though username shows up as "brad kim," which would be my "real name" in English.

There are two parts to my username

I got B& from Neopets when I was 10. My username was mtallmen, so when I signed up again it gave me a random number, so my username was mtallmen184

The second part is when I got B& from Runescape when I was 11. When I signed up again, I put an underscore between mtallmen and 184, giving me mtallmen_184

I was thinking of usernames and then Family Guy popped into my head and I thought of the episode where Brian writes a novel or w/e and "stack of papers" turned into "PileOPapers".

Hilarity ensues.

And back on the original topic, I've tried changing over to new usernames. Names that are more metal. Frozen Gauntlet was one of them, and I'm still Blonde Guardian on Twilight Sucks. But nah, I just find this name sticks better with me for some reason. ('-' )

Jostin, not in the European version of the game.
The "P" and "B" letters are always preceded by a "M" in those cases.

Funny to think that "Cactuar" has been replaced by the "Pampa" word as well…

It's a mutation of my standard username, which has a long, complicated backstory all its own. I dunno why I wanted to change it for this site.

Also, red spear reminds me of Crimson Lance. Now I wanna go play Borderlands again.

my username is an obscure reference to an obscure video game. Jade Cocoon 2 for the PS2, the shop keeper was named kikinak.

friggin love Jade Cocoon 2, nobody knows it even exists though XP

i used to use variations of my real name till one is accepted but have started to use unusual variations first because my real name usually isn't accepted as someone else has got it. dyolf is my middle name backwards. I don't really think it's important as long as I've got one i recognise or remember quick as I'm forgetermaful.

Mine is simple.
My name is Nicholas and I used to watch the Simpsons – that's where the drnic part came from.
I dropped the 'k' to differenciate myself from other DrNicks, and decapitalised because I'm lazy.
The 010 bit I added when I started finding other 'drnics'. It is an album by The Mad Capsule Markets.

Et voila :)
