Can someone confirm that every character on Touhou is female.

Introducing Rinnosuke Morichika!

He's the only male character I can think of at the moment that's from the game series. But, yes, it's true that most Touhou characters are female.

Ah. Unzan is kind of a guy. He is basically a cloud with a gender. Unzan is the only male that appears in a game.

Rinnosuke never actually appears in a game, but instead is a character in an official touhou fanbook, thus making him canon.

Being the only guy, it makes me curious. What IS Rinnosuke's role in the series? I really know nothing about these characters' back stories.

That's just another name given to Rinnosuke by the Western fanbase. He really is the only official male Touhou character.

Unzan doesn't really have a gender. It is referred to as a man, though.
