I'm not sure, but according to this group… A Polish newspaper may have mistook Pedobear for an Olympic mascot and added it to their front page:

Someone made a photoshop of the mascots with pedobear as well, then the Polish newspaper mistook it for a legit mascot. Not sure about this. The pedobear article is banned from adding pictures or comments though. The paper could be a good thing to add.
