Trending images page is always full of borderline pornographic anime fanarts and other weeb shit, i have been visiting this website since 2013 but made an account only this year, how could this have happened? They are barely memes, like the Dragon Maid show in the first months that i saw trending every day in places like 4chan, youtube and other meme websites but that soon turned into a pedopornographic shitfest.

Look, i personally despise anime and i think it's garbage (DON'T GET TRIGGERED BY MY OPINION!), but regardless of it why there are so many people mistaking this website for a sussidiary of Rule34? Here's the correct places you need to go to if you want to jack off to something:

You can interpret it as a personal attack if you want to, but i don't understand why do i have to see anime butts every single time i visit this place (now there's this doki doki shit i even saw on youtube) because of the horny 30 year olds who upvote it.

I keep telling the other mods to ban anime but half of the mod team are weebs at this point so it's no use.

In any case @OP, we are already discussing the NSFW issue in another thread, and anime is a big part of the internet, to ban anime from the site would be to go against the purpose of documenting internet culture and kinda fuck up the whole "unbiased documentation" thing we kinda sorta maybe have going on here.

If you believe an image violates the rules (because it contains nipples, genitalia, sexual fluids, underage characters in revealing costumes, etc.), feel free to report it. If it doesn't violate the rules, downvote it and move on. Better yet, just don't look at the section of the site that shows the most popular images since you clearly are not with the majority of users when it comes to image preference and instead just go directly to the image gallery that interests you.

Fact is, KYM already has a shrinking userbase. You severely restrict image upload or an entire medium of fiction and you're going to see the site crash.

I don't disagree with your objection to the overabundance of lewd fan art OP, but you need to also be aware that anime fandom here and across the net spans much more than that and there are a lot of legit anime memes on-site and this site also tracks & chronicles subcultures & fandoms.

Also, Doki Doki Literature Club is not an anime. :^)

How about this:
Instead of listening to people who rather than ignoring things they don't like; we instead keep posting anime, keep posting furries, keep posting mlp, keep posting sanic, keep posting vidja games, keep posting cartoons, keep posting what we keep posting cause at the end of the day a lot of people dislike certain things so saying that one thing should be removed is ridiculous.

I may personally don't like stuff like sonic or mlp but to say that because I don't like something that it should be removed is stupid, cause then in turn why shouldn't stuff like made in abyss or ancient magus bride be removed as well?

To say that one thing only should be removed on the basis of personal tastes is a clear example of bias and irrationality.

If you don't like what you see, instead of restricting content. How about you get away from the site and stay out? This isn't a safe space. No point in deleting anime or NSFW images completely, it's a part of internet culture. Oh and you don't even have to look at NSFW images if you want to.

I suppose it's time to refer people to the extension that blocks nsfw images made by ArchaicEX. I recommend you use it until the situation is resolved.
