Read sic title.
I watch barely any television, I have played very few video games, I have watched barely any anime (mostly cult recruitment videos from Aum Shinrikyō…), watch no movies, mostly don't use social media. I mostly stick to youtube, and mostly edutainment at that.
Just a PSA. If you are also like this, please tell me below, so that we can be practically clueless about every single reference on this site… together.

I don't watch any anime and the only video game I like is an RTS from 1999 so yeah after MLP died I haven't really been part of any of the site's subcultures.

Well, I am oblivious to 90% of anime references (because I never watch it anyway) and play a few amount of games.

The only times where I get references is because A. someone actually decides to post something that I saw before, or B. I see the same thing over and over again in this site that it just kinda sticks to my brain (Aqua is useless as an example).

If only there were a website that revolved around informing people of references and jokes..

I just tend to ignore the galleries and images of those topics I don't get.
