A friend of mine showed me this and how it reminded him of all the pervy and really questionable anime he wanted in our high school to University years. He thought it was quite funny how "I watch it for the plot" has become such a well-known meme.

Well they didn't call anyone Racist, Sexist, Bigoted, or Misogynistic for watching these, so its an improvement from their usual approach to anime.

Yeah, you're right.

I guess they kind of hinted at the idea of being sexist but not plainly pointing it out.

1. Pretty sure Buzzfeed is doing it for the memewith a mix of WatchMojo, nothing else. So idk what's the point of this thread since the article is not even that popular.

2 I noticed that you created your account in the same hour you created this thread. Just a bit suspicious about it
