This may be a strange question to some, but it's something I'd like to get further insight into.

Basically, in terms of overall culture and memes, which console era is better? The Wii U/3DS era, or the Nintendo Switch era?

I'm having trouble coming up with ways to properly explain this thread, but hopefully it'll make sense once the ball gets rolling.

Smash 4 era had a lot of memes/fads I can't all list on the top of my head, and Splatoon is a big contender

I dunno which is better or worse: "Nintendo is for little kids" or "Nintendo is for Soylent nu-males."

A lot of the Wii U's marketing was aimed at that "family" demographic, which didn't work out too well in the end.
