Hello everyone. As you all probably know, Mario Kart 8 was recently released. In the game, you can create Tounaments, which works just like communities did in Mario Kart 7. Now I thought to myself: "Wouldn't it be awesome if people from KYM could race against each other?" Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have created a Tournament for us here on Know Your Meme. If you wanna be part of it, simply just read the rest of this post.

Rules:

150 CC
No CPU
Items on
All vehicles allowed
32 races (This is how many races you can race before you no longer can get points and the Tournament is over for you. You don't have to race 32 times if you don't want too. The reason why it is 32 is because that 32 races takes around 2 hours.)

The Tournament is on every Saturday from 10 PM CEST to midnight. That means from 9 PM to 11 PM UK time (BST) and from 1 PM to 3 PM PDT. Don't worry, the time can be changed.

Now, since we want this to be between members of KYM and not random strangers, you will need a code so you can find and join the Tournament. In order to get the code, follow these simply steps.

If you want to join, simply PM me and tell me that you want to join. After this I will send you the Tournament code. Then you simply use the Tournament code to search for the Tournament.

That is all folks. If you got any question, feel free to ask, and feel free to post your Nintendo Network names in the Thread. It is more fun if we know who we are racing against. I'll start: My Nintendo Network name is Mark and I'm from Denmark, Region Zealand. I have a very generic Mii (I didn't really think about making my Mii special when I was making my Nintendo Network account. Now if I had known you couldn't edit the Miis used to represent your Nintendo Nertwork account after you had made them, I probably would have put more work into my Mii)

This is one of those times I reeaaally wish I had a Wii U. Also, KYM people might want to post their Wii usernames here so we know who we're racing.

Oooh, sounds like fun. I'm totally up for it if other users are. I believe my Nintendo Network name is Brandon, from the UK, East Midlands. My Mii is also shit, as I am naturally shit at anything remotely creative. Also, I will ban anyone who chooses either Piranha Plant Pipeway or Thwomp Ruins should the options come up. Just a warning.

This is something I'd definitely like to join in on; the only problem is I don't have a copy of Mario Kart 8.

I'm pretty fierce, so I'll have fun with this tournament. I'm up for this.

This is going to be great! I might not be able to play this Saturday, but eventually I will get in on the action. As for my account, I'm considering on making one separate from my personal Mii just for this. I'll get back to you guys with the name if I can. It'll probably be called "Sam" or more likely "Spider" to keep with my account on KYM.

It felt like it mas me and Thygen mostly in the lead, which was pretty fun because he is a real challenge. Really, I actually think he is on par with me. Also, goddamn Music Park was chosen so much.

Also Thygen, how wonderful was it when you used the Super Horn on me and immediately a Blue Shell hits you in Royal Raceway? I almost died laughing.

If I can I want to stream one of the tournaments sometime. But I will need to get some capture equipment to do so.

Maybe get the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable, but I think that only works with recording and I don't exactly have that kind of money right now. Will have to look into it.

Oh, by the way. If I come to the tourney, my Mii will be Ice Man (from the Mega Man franchise).

I unfortunately won't be able to do much racing today, but I'm hoping to be able play at least a little bit.

Oh my god I hate life. Finally get free time to join and my Wii U's like "Oh I see you want to play Mario Kart today. HAHAHAHAH LOLNOPE". It refuses to load anything but Brain Training, which doesn't sound like a fun alternative. Sigh, Guess I'll just have to spend the night looking at Dr. Kawashima's horrifying polygonal face.
