For Nintendo fans who are financially able to buy the Wii U or can save up for it but haven't, I just have to say along with Random: wat r u doin?
The Wii U isn't plagued with a bad selection anymore. It has two Mario games, Pikmin, a great Zelda remade along with a new one on the way next year, big likelihood for a Metroid, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Smash on the way, a not half-bad Sonic game with a possibly good one on the way, great LEGO games, GBA on the VC along with most likely GC soon and Earthbound already available, and loads more. A game library isn't a problem. The Wii U probably has twice as big a library as its competitors do and most of it is of excellent quality. Don't say the power in it is weak either. It may be less powerful than its competitors, it still runs 1080p very smoothly, and that's al you really need. The Wii U's big problem is the limited third party support, but do you know why support is limited? Because people aren't buying it and third-party companies don't want to bother which is why I can't play MGSV on it! So, when you think about it, you not buying the system causes it to get such little support, and the games it gets are usually poorly ported. So, if you can save for it without going into financial trouble, I highly recommend doing so.
So, about Mario Kart, I really can't wait until I get 8. I've heard many good things about it, so I'm saving right now. To curb my pain, I'm playing 7 sadly with Jimmy.
