The Swastika on the Buddhist statue is a square one. The Nazi Swastika is in more of a diamond shape or tilted to the right. I.E. the one in the Avatar.

The swastika used to be a symbol of good luck.

Why is the holocaust the first thing everyone thinks of when someone mentions Hitler? He did other stuff too!

Guys, even if most of you are posting in this thread in irony, its still distasteful. During world war II 4,000,000 people were killed by the Nazi party from one of four ways. one, they were simply killed during a battle. ways two, three, and four start with being taken to a holding camp, then a concentration camp from there. Once there they were either given hard labor, they would often die from exhaustion (two) or were killed in an act of defiance (three). However, worse than the latter is the fourth way you would die. They use you for medical experiments, and not the kind where you try out a new type of drug; but where they would cut you open, without anesthesia, so that you would feel the pain of your organs being chopped up and re-arranged. You had to watch in pain as your innards bleeding as they where pulled out until you died. Families were separated and killed right before the eyes of its members, and they suffered more than any one man should. This thread glorifying such a thing suddenly doesn't seem as funny huh?

you didn't even read the first line, i said i realize most of you are doing this ironically, but its still horrible to act un-serious about a situation that caused so much pain and suffering. they literally tortured and killed millions of people. Imagine you and you family were taken to a camp, imagine watching your mom and dad get shot in the head, or taken to be cut to pieces, while you were forced to do back breaking labor, from which you might die. now multiply that feeling that by 4,000,000 and that is the sorrow that is the holocaust.

We are not making light of the holocaust but I will make fun of HOH's sugar coated bullshit about the empire. My Grandfather fought in that war and I think if he was still alive he would laugh at what we posted and he would tell HOH to get back in the kitchen and make me a sammich.

If "'The Empire’ does not refer to Nazi Germany" than why do you celebrate his birthday and have swastikas or Hitler on everything you post? Look I know they had some nice uniforms and I know Hitler was half genius / half nut case but the US and allied forces came in and stomped all over them. I actually feel sorry for you. Someone feed you this bullshit and planted the seed into your head. You where too young and too stupid to see at as such. You bought into it and started coming up with your own Ideas about it and now you have it in your head that it's "the spiritual successor to Nazi Germany". And now you spout off this bullshit to others thinking that they will buy into it just as you did. Where is this line of thinking going to take you in life? You may get praise from other nazis and racists but you are not going to have a better life because of it. It really isn't going to do damn thing for you in the grand scheme of things. Your empire is never going to happen and would be crushed if it did (just like WWII). There are so many other things in life you could do to better your life. This isn't going to put food on the table, clothes on your back or a roof over your head. It's also not going to allow you to see the beautiful things this life has to offer. I really do feel sorry for you.
