Dear Know Your Meme researchers,

Our second monthly podcast session is coming up just around the corner, which is currently scheduled for recording on either June 5th or 6th, and from hereon, we would like to incorporate a Q&A session with KYM community as a recurring segment in the episode. That being said, our main discussion topic for the upcoming podcast is: shitposting.

Similar to our pilot episode on the rise of Meme Economy, the meme team will begin by defining what constitutes "shitposting," followed by an open discussion on the topic (ex: why has it gotten so popular? how do other trends on tangent, such as anti-memes, inverse and ironic memes, wholesome memes, etc, play a role in the endurance of shitposts?), and conclude with us answering and discussing select user-submitted questions that are directly relevant to the discussion topic.

If you have had any burning questions or food for thoughts relating to this month's topic, please feel free to share them in this thread and we will be sure to address them (with a proper shout out, of course). Fire away!
