Heads up for ascending wojak meme "NPC" (still too soon to say, but spreading fast)

New term for "normalfag". Apparently it was based on the screencap of a article (still researching original source) containing a study that said that the majority of the population acts and thinks in some sort of "pilot mode" fashion devoid of inner thoughts and self awareness (Like a video game NPC). Often attributed to functional members of society
-I think it started on /r9k/ (some say it started on /pol/)
-It's possible it started with just one guy making several threads on every board at the same time like the Boomer meme
-It's forced, but what you expected? It's another 4chan wojak meme
-Discussions where someone complains about the meme often end up with accusations of the complainer being a NPC himself. Another banter synergy generator

i'd give it time, currently it's nothing but a few /r9k/ teens and some /v/ copycats spamming it endlessly, gotta wait to see if the spammers outnumber the naysayers by the end of the week.
by the way, this latest iteration of wojak has sparked the greatest amount of protest i've seen in all these variations, even Boomer wasn't received this negatively at first.

oh and because the image seems to be broken in the OP, here's the latest meme in question

Background (As far as I’ve found, anyways): /r9k/ users got their hands on some information, more than likely a survey or an OP that got everyone's attention, that claimed that roughly 3/4ths of people never actually think for themselves. They thought that this was outrageous, that no human being is that pre-programmed enough to act like a video game NPC, so they're calling anyone an NPC that agrees to popular opinion. Or at this point, are calling everyone an NPC in hopes the new buzzword gains traction

I’ve seen it a lot on /v/, as well. It’s often accompanied by a “cringe and bluepilled” opinion or old meme, like enjoying gacha games or referencing arrow to the knee.

It's a bit further than just a plain wojak meme.

It's just another "thing I don't like" meme like the variety of deformed and retarded Wojaks that plagued 4chan previously. I've seen it morph between popular shows/games to anything the user deems "mindless".

Change any post you find with the new NPC image to this and it's the exact same shit. It'll die out in a year and a new, more blatant Wojak will rise in its place.

The meme didn't catch on very well in the intended place, but /v/ is seething over the idea of reusing Wojak now so whoever is responsible is doubling down on their Wojak snowclone production. Definitely a group effort, because I've seen 3 new, unnamed variants surface just to bait the board the past two days. Most people believe it's some crew of Discordfags behind it all, hard to say though

So, basically a forced meme by the book..? Pitiful.
