UVa reddit thread I'm currently using as the main source I recommend opening the downvoted comments--some of them are supposedly from the student himself, under the handle u/redpillpub.

a University of Virginia student decided to stand up during a lecture on microaggressions in medicine and own the lecturer. This landed him in hot water with the administration, which arranged a meeting regarding his behavior, during which he gloriously shit the bed. He's now been suspended from the university for a year.

He has since dismissed the lawyer he hired for this situation and is currently doxxing UVa faculty members on /pol/ (where Medgate is getting a lot of attention).

Everything is in the thread linked above, including audio recordings of both the lecture and the meeting with the administration, as well as links to the 10+ /pol/ threads on this topic, etc.

It won't be as big as the other Gates. It's just one student embarrassing themselves. If you have problems with your college staff, please don't go to 4chan for help.

What a hero this guy truly is.

In a middle of a lecture he interupts the speaker for the purpose of owning his idealogy, gets suspened for basically humiliating an honor guest of the university, and then proceed to make what was essentially a private matter between him and the school public by doxxing the information of thr faculty on /pol/.

Normally I side with freedom of speech and against the seriousness of “microaggression”, but my God this comes off more like some edgy fucker who rudly interrupts a talk that he didn’t have to participate in, got in trouble with the school for it and proceeds to leaked the info of those who wronged him as a revenge.

Truly a hero we should aspire to be:

From that Reddit thread:

He's posting pictures and details of the faculty, and telling people to write to the Daily Stormer and Alex Jones.
He dropped his lawyer after he received common sense legal advice that he didn't like.

As with most controversies, there's more to it than the headline.
