I am writing a thesis on the subject of memes and I am looking for a place where I can find all the most popular memes from (let's say 2008-2018). Or if anyone knows a good source or definition or previous research on the same subject??

I don't know of any objective ranking of meme popularity, but sorting KYM entries by views gives you a decent proxy for it.
