When Poe is involved, it's best to tread lightly
YOU ARE THE INSTIGATOR TO THIS FUED! I USED TO RESPECT YOU, BUT YOU’VE DONE EVERYTHING TO DESTROY THAT RESPECT ON PURPOSE!
FUCK! OFF!
The first comment is alright, but the reply…
In response to the phrase 'woman up'
breaking news: furries are not people. they are a race, parrarel to humans, that is growing in population day after day. if we do not take action the furries will start to demand their own category on kym entries

PC: Print screen button > paste in paint > crop and save > upload to imugr or tinypic or imageshack or whatever > paste image link in between two exclamation marks, no spaces > profit
Mac: I'm sure there's an app you can use
Linux: You aren't ready for Linux yet
holding the windows key while pressing the print screen button also works
So much anger. I think that the "DEATH TO SJW's!!!!!!" in red bold caps is the climax of the Stephen Universe comments section.

To be fair, some tumblr social justice types did actively drive a young mentally ill girl to attempted suicide. Luckily she's recovered, but I don't see a problem with people being upset.

Regardless, this makes saying something like "Death to SJWs" in bold, caps, and red, the ultimate form of hypocrisy.

Right, but that was one person. Not the whole chain.

I don't think that outrage as a response to outrage ever solved anything. Users hardly deserve commendation for venting their outrage in a symphony of whining on an article. And no, it was not just one person. "Those SJWS all belong in PRISON" complete with an angry pepe is hardly any better. If the response to a shitty internet mob is yet another shitty internet mob then it deserves mockery.

You expect us to trounce human nature? You expect reason from a crowd? Did you really think a collective bearing absolute disdain and disgust could do anything but something ridiculous. If that were true, that poor girl wouldn't be in the hospital.
I suppose you are right, you could very well mock it. Of course, mocking human nature is just as laughable, I suppose.

Personally, I don't think it's likely, but that doesn't mean I don't try. If I succeed, I've done the impossible. If I fail, I get to bask in the glory of my moral superiority. Sounds like a win-win situation to me. But then again, I'm naïve and not the sharpest tool in the shed. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if I was somehow the frog from the fable about the scorpion and the frog in a past life.

beyond that anything by this guy could easily fit in here, he's a huge islamophobe, an edgy anti-brone, a guy who says "westaboo" instead of "freeaboo," and so on and so on

It's true, someone might be a teaboo, or even a weaboot (wannabe Canadian).
This guy needs to learn what irony is and then seek immediate psychiatric help, preferably in that order.

Hrom is either greatest (unintentional) comedian on KYM or the saddest individual on this site (maybe he's young).
Anyway he is the legit edgelord (listens to nu metal, says edgy things, etc…)
Holy shit dude, can poochyena just fucking stop already?
Something tells me that this thread is going to be really busy today…
just in general the dissonance between the safe space circlejerk and the SU controversy circlejerk is just baffling
so safe spaces are unnecessary and people need to grow thicker skin and deal with harassment, but the SU people are awful and irredeemable for harassing someone?
is harassment a fukcing problem or not???

I think the idea is that you should learn to accept that other people might not like you or disagree with you. However if said people decide to make it their mission to try and make you feel miserable and hopeless to such a horrible extent then that's going too far.
Criticism and Differing opinions =/= Harassment and Bullying.

The difference is, this is actually serious, targeted harassment by multiple individuals. How many non-public figures get subjected to that? (Outside of the middle/high school environment and the unique societal bubble that it creates.) Not many. So where exactly would you get a high enough concentration of these individuals that creating a "space" for them would make any kind of sense?
Getting called some mean things by a few random people over the internet isn't up to stuff with any reasonable standard of what we should be concerned about. Become a public figure with a solid presence on the internet, and some degree of harassment by the bottom 1% of those against you is very likely, often depending on how much you relate to things that are controversial.
EDIT: Yes, Tchefuncte Bonaparte brings up a good point. I should have clarified to begin with.

It's like you've never heard of bullying.

That has to be the worst strawman I have ever seen in my life. Go to a corner and attempt to form logical thought.
I'd tell you why you're wrong, but everyone before me has already done decently with that.

I find that when dissonance occurs, one idea usualy trumps the other (and consistently, at that). Fear of SJWs tends to win against anti-SJW circlejerking.
I mean, fandoms have suffered from bullying like this for as long as they have existed. Has anyone seen a years-long friendship implode over Homestuck ships? It's very ugly. Pettiness and toxicity are pervasive within fandoms, and depression / suicide attempts is sadly not uncommon. The only reason why this gets unique attention is because the subject matter gives the circlejerking crowd an in to complain against SJWs and, for whatever reason, KYM is frontpaging and facebooking it.
I'm not starting a srs argument in riffraff for the umpteenth time this week. If any of you want to keep debating this, message me or start a thread about it somewhere else.
There's just one thing I've got left to say.

And you're assuming a fallacy takes away from my point. That's two fallacies you've used so far.
As for my argument, I've already mentioned that others already have it covered. Why don't you try replying to them? It'd be the same as debating against me, except you stand more of a chance with them. Consider it "lightweight" mode for you.

I'm gonna just leave this single serious post in riff-raff as a reply 'cause this is not the topic for it.
In my opinion, this case is different from all the previous fandom feuds because what are used against the artist in order to justifiy harassment and death threats are arguments usually used by proponents of social justice (whitewashing, transphobia, homophobia, fat hate). It gives credibility to the anti-sjw crowd with that sole example, however unrelated to actual social activism it actually is.
Please, just because you have your opinions on anti-sjw people and outrage-goers, don't deny that this event serves as a reminder that all kinds of activism contains its amount of misguided people.

*some.
that's the important part. People are using this as more fuel for the eternally-burning "death to sjw" bandwagon and that just makes it a all-around garbage fire.

Well, he at least lives up to his name.
> A couple more happenings like this, and society will turn on them while they turn on themselves. All we have to do is stand back and watch them implode.
Let's watch and see SJWs pushing people to commit suicide. Thats gonna show everyone who's the real enemy. GG will finally take over the world.
Better to do nothing then get involved in this shitstorm, tbh. Besides, they should know the best way to fight online bullying is to make a thread all about mocking others and shitposting about shitposting.
Armatures, I swear.
