So it's about this kid who doesn't want to pilot these giant robots, that aren't really robots, but clones from a godlike being or somethings. These giant robot/clones of whatever are the defense mechanism agains the Angels were created by an Adam, are trying to destroy Tokyo and get to the other god, Lilith, that is in the body of one of the girls piloting the EVAs to destroy her.

All EVAs are clones of Adam except for the boy's EVA who is a clone of the other one.

Stuff happens and in the end everyone dies.

I still have that what the fuck am I watching face, I really want to know what the hell is this anime…

Congratulations, man.

Robots made of those godlike beings. Well, the only EVA that was made using Lilith's parts is the EVA-01. The rest were made with parts of Adam. I think.

are trying to destroy Tokyo and get to the other god

And cause the third impact, in other words, the end of the world.

Lilith, that is in the body of one of the girls piloting the EVAs to destroy her.

Lilith is in the lowest level of NERV. Later in the series, Gendo fusions lilith with Rei so he can become god.

Stuff happens and in the end everyone dies.

Rei decides to give Shinji the choice of causing the third impact or not, she does it because she wants to make him happy.

Shinji accepts the instrumentality and everyone becomes a huge sea of LCL (the oceanic feeling). I can't remember the explanation to the "disgusting" thing.

Also, did you watch "The End of Evangelion"?

All I remember from Evangalion was that there was some kid…. and some chick got hurt. And he jacked off to her in the hospital. And my mom wouldn't let me use the computer for a month because she thought it was porn.

They're actually trying to get to Adam, not Lilith. That's why there's the attack on the naval fleet in that one episode--because Adam was on board on of the ships being transported back to Tokyo. The Angels don't care about the Evas or their pilots. The only reason they fight them is because they're in the way of getting to Adam.

Here's a really good tip that makes the notorious clusterfuck ending much easier to comprehend: The final two episodes of the series actually take place near the end of End of Evangelion. They're what Shinji is experiencing when he undergoes Instrumentality. The timeline would go:
>End of Evangelion
>Instrumentality begins
>Shinji undergoes instrumentality
>last two episodes of series
>Shinji rejects instrumentality
>wakes up next to Asuka
It's not confirmed to be true, but it makes the most sense.

If I remember correctly, the two leading theories are: 1) she was pregnant was undergoing morning sickness, or 2) during Instrumentality, everyone's memories were merged together and she "saw" the infamous hospital scene from Shinji's perspective and was commenting on it. I like theory two much more than theory one.

then why did the angels before that attack neo tokyo 3, and not the place adam was at that time.
i never really got the whole lilith-adam-ancient-alien-moon-first-impact-thing…
also: pregnant, wtf? where did ppl get that theory from o0

as far as i can tell, the ending is actually a happy one, more or less. at least that's what i like to think, i don't like downer endings.
no one improtant – or "dear to the viewer" – actually dies at the end (except that nagisa some seem to care about, but fuck that guy), they all see a rei and dissolve into lcl because their at-fields break down and become one giant sea of lcl. based on shinji's return from being dissolved in ep. 20 and asuka's an shinji's re-materialisation from lcl, as well as some lines spoken by rei (or kaworu, i'm not sure anymore), the people can return to being individuals and reject instrumentality like shinji and apparently asuka did.
that being said, the world after 3rd impact seems like a shit place to live in or even at least survive, given that everything looks like that final scene of eoe, and that really the whole earth was devastated by 3rd impact (though i don't see why tearing down at fields, which are more of a spiritual thing, globally would impact physical structures so much)…

Does anyone remember that one time that Starscream once made an alliance with the angles at one point and pretty much turns into one of them in there attack on Tokyo

Which then causes the Autobots to team up with NERV,

Turns Optimus into a EVA hybrid just to beat "Angle"-scream,

All because Hasbro and Takara Tomy Mall wanted to sell a MP-10 repainted to have EVA-01's color scheme?

… Anybody remember?

After doing a quick wiki check, it appears Lilith would indeed trigger Third Impact and so would be sought after by the Angels. I got confused due to dialogue stating Adam would be the trigger, when that dialogue was actually referring to Lilith.

no one improtant – or “dear to the viewer” actually dies…

Misato definitely dies…

Unless she could have survived the blunt force trauma and being cut in half by the explosion long enough for the Rei Tang Huggers to get to her--which is highly unlikely.

Ritsuko is shot and, if not killed by the bullet, would have drowned.

Gendo gets decapitated, but he was a dick so there was much rejoicing.

Kaworu is squeezed until his head pops off.

Rei 2.0 is turned into KFC.

Rei 1.0 gets strangled to death as a child.

Fuck knows what happened to Rei 3.0.

Pen Pen may have died if Instrumentality only targeted humans and no one ever bothered feeding him.

Everyone else got hugged.

where did ppl get that theory from o0

Shipping. Asuka's original voice actor has confirmed it was theory 2 anyway.
