Now that Day 3 of Comic Con is through, we now have new info on what to expect from these two. I wasn't able to see any of the actual events since Marvel didn't live stream theirs and I didn't pay initial attention to DC's. I did manage to see the Justice League trailer on IMDb, and so far it seems like they're actually shaping up and lightening the tone. Flash reminded me of Tom Holland's Spiderman a little and Aquaman actually looks awesome. I'll have to see if this will end up good, since I was divided on Dawn of Justice.

I mainly wanted to see the new footage of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but Disney isn't releasing it online right now, so I'm still left in the dark. I did look on the Wikipedia page to see the new characters introduced, and it seems like Blockbuster Buster will be disappointed that Adam Warlock and Quasar aren't in there. I'm especially disappointed that Warlock isn't included considering the subtle clue that was in the first movie.

My position is the same one I've had for years which is that I'll watch the DC movies sure but I am not excited for them at all and probably will get mediocre enjoyment from watching it at most. Like I haven't even seen the Justice League trailer yet.

Marvel on the other hand, I will hype the ever-loving shit out of. Doesn't matter how sketchy an idea seems they're making, how risky, or anything because I know Disney Marvel is incapable of producing anything less than absolutely brilliant. They only seem to get better which is pretty scary.

I'm looking forward to Doctor Strange, mostly because the animated movie was my intro to Marvel as a kid, and the effects in the trailer look top notch, I was gawking like an idiot at the city shots. Still on the fence about Cumberbatch, but I'll judge his performance when I see the movie in November.
"BUT WHAT ABOUT TILDA SWINTON AS THE ANCIENT O-"
Shhh shhhhhh look at the spinning buildings it's so cool.

DC: Okay….things are looking better. They seem to loosen up the grimdark previus movies were dragging. I don't mind more serious stories, but the jerking off of Miller's writen stories were maddening. Hopelly things get better.

Marvel: My hype has gone through dimensions. i can't WAIT for Doctor Strange. Also, awesome casting for Captian Marvel

If Suicide Squad sucks, I'm cashing out of the DC movies. Three films should be enough to impress the audience. As for Wonder Woman, I wasn't as super enthusiastic about her appearance in Batman v. Superman as everyone else. Yes, her scenes were pretty cool, but she served no function in the story. She could have been removed and it wouldn't have made much difference.
