Using jokes/in-jokes from shows you don't really like

What I mean is that you may not like a show, game, or movie but still couldn't resist making jokes or references from said piece of media.

For example, many of you know I'm not into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Evangelion, and Attack on Titan, but I do understand enough of them to make jokes/references to them.

I'm not into Jojo (yet) but I'm familiar with some of the fandom in-jokes/memes like "it was me Dio" and a couple others like how Stands are named after songs or bands (which is one reason why the official English releases often have changes to names because "damn Araki, you want all of us to get sued?" like how a Stand named after Limp Bizkit was changed to "Flaccid Pancake," and the French character Polnareff is only referred to by his first name "Jean Pierre" in English because Polnaeff is the last name of a real life famous French singer).

It's an interesting phenomenon, cultural osmosis. I know most of the damn plot twists in RWBY via watching its fandom in action around KYM, but have never watched it myself.

Anyway I really like the lost arm jokes as well. They seem like they could be a bit offensive to amputees, but they're totally armless really.

I also love the Over 9000 and Daily Dose memes.
