Spoiler alert: Many Bothans die in the movie.
First person to point out the "Many Bothans died" line actually refers to the Death Star II is a huge nerd

No, that's Rouge Two.
Someone said that the first trailer reminded them of the Hunger Games and ever since I haven't been able to shake that impression. This trailer dispelled those fears.

I had the same thought when I saw it. "What is Catpiss Neverclean doing in Star Wars?" I guess the reshoots were to get rid of that? Either that or this trailer just conveniently excludes all Hunger Games protagonist type moments.

As an old hardcore Star Wars fan, this cringe joke pains me…

I was 7 years old standing in line waiting for over an hour to see Star Wars (New Hope) in 1977. It was the one Movie that blew the Sci-Fi genre out of the water. Then in 1980 when Empire strikes back came out I was floored by the story and plot twist. In 1982 when Star Trek Wrath of Khan came out and again I was amazed at how Sci-Fi just opened up my imagination. The only Sci-Fi movie I didn't see in the theatre was Alien, I watched that one when I was a lil older. The late 70's through the 80's had some of the best movie franchises, stories and actors / characters. So as an even older hardcore fan, it did make me chuckle.
Respect and hats off man!
The joke is still goddam overused (especially on the movie sites i visit) and i really hope it will never make into a meme. Pretty please?
I still don't really get why they have accents. Made no sense back in New Hope, makes no sense now.
So, Vader is in this after all. Neat.
