It looks like every anime trope ever had a child with The Boondocks.
Strange combo. I'll have to see how it works out.

If it has as much pseudo-philosophical bullshit as Jaden Smith's tweets do I imagine it'll be hilarious.

IT HAS BEGUN

I can only imagine the combinations of anime-esque philosophy in a form of a Jaden Smith tweet.

Also Steve Buscemi is in this too.

I don't remember too much of Spy Kids, but there's quite a few… interesting things about it. Did you know Machete takes place in the same universe as Spy Kids?

Also, as stupid as Neo Yokio looks, I'd still consider watching it ironically. Unlike Big Mouth.

Hopefully this will be one of those "so bad it's good" kinds of shows when it actually releases, because from the trailer it just looks plain bad. The animation is stiff as fuck and the characters look kind've "off" if you know what I mean.

Judging by the trailer on its own I have no clue as to whether it's supposed to be serious (given how Jaden Smith is sitting at the front of the show) or if it's a parody of anime and its various tropes just in general. I have heard though that it's incredibly easy to binge in a couple of hours and that it goes into the 'so bad, it's good' territory, if that counts for anything.

Also, gotta love that monotone-ness in his voice when he says "She's possessed? That sucks."
