We all know harem anime have an audience but how large is potential audience for harem cartoons?

I personally don't know know any harem cartoons but considering that shipping community is present in virtually all cartoons, I assume that there is at least some audience for it.

However, is it a small minority or perhaps there would be lot of untapped potential? While not perhaps on TV then perhaps at least on the Internet? I'm sure that someone on the Internet can muster up enough resources to make a harem cartoon.

It could. Guy is surrounded by lots of women totally into him, but for whatever reason he doesn't or can't take advantage of the situation.

Of course things would have to be more westernized. I dont think western audiences would find your typical japanese harem protagonist appealing.

But in a more serious note i honestly do not see that happening because of the US laws and because of regional differences ,(Remember that most non japanese people that watch anime are are not the target demographic)

Well, most bronies are not the target demographic for MLP.
