What are some old TV bumpers you enjoyed?

A big favorite for me's always been the "CN City" bumpers that aired on Cartoon Network in the mid to late 00s. I think they lasted until about 2008 (when CN transitioned into bumpers based around "nood figures"). Similar to something like Roger Rabbit, House of Mouse, and Kingdom Hearts, I just love it when I see official crossover stuff like this. Seeing all these characters I love interacting with one another is just so cool.

MTV on its prime really had those cool bumpers that lasted for less than a minute, some of them were weird or strange and some were creative. Even people like Danny Antonucci and Bill Plympton worked on those bumpers. It helped to establish the MTV logo as one of the most recognizable icons in the 80s and 90s.

When I was a kid, my parents and I would watch one or two hours of Nick at Nite before I went to bed. As a result, I was one of the only kids my age who knew about shows like Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, and Taxi. A fixture of Nick at Nite during this time was the 10-second bump series created by Pomposello Productions. They used a great variety of animation and filming styles which often combined 50s/60s aesthetics with surreal humor. I watched these bumps countless times and knew many of them by heart. A few years ago, I watched them for the first time in ages. Not only did it give me a huge nostalgia rush, but I gained a new appreciation for how creative, varied, and memorable they were. Instead of repeating "Watch Nick at Nite" ad nauseum, the production company got inspired and delivered these weird, wonderful ten-second videos that hold up perfectly today. Maybe they were immune to becoming dated because they were already incorporating the image of the past. It's a case of feeling nostalgic for something from the 90s meant to evoke nostalgia for the 50s and 60s.

Adult Swim's stuff in their early years. I remember as a kid struggling to stay awake at first, just to watch for an hour or two when I could. Outside of Pokemon and Dragonball, AS is what really introduced me to anime like it did to so many others in the early 2000's. I stopped watching AS years ago, but I've always been very grateful to them for that. I still vividly remember when they were promoting Samurai Champloo, this particular bumper always stuck with me. Like a tasteful AMV in a sea of the Linkin Park infused ones that dominated the era
